Watch Terrorists Clash in a Sneak of Caprica's Mid-Season Finale
by Mike Moody, posted Mar 23rd 2010 2:15PM
I can't believe the mid-season finale of 'Caprica' is only a few days away. It seems like the show just found its footing and now its going on a break with an official return date yet to be announced.
We have a sneak peek of this Friday's ep, titled "End of the Line" that features Barnabus (James Marsters) clashing with Clarice (Polly Walker). Watch it below and see if you can tell which one of these fanatical religious terrorists is crazier than the other.
Friday's season-ender will offer plenty of STO action, but we'll also see some major drama between Daniel (Eric Stoltz) and Zoe (Alessandra Torresani) at Casa Graystone. According to Syfy, Daniel plans to "reset" the Zoebot, which could end Avatar Zoe's existence for good. She tries to escape before the shutdown, but not everything goes to plan.

Syfy Standing Behind 'Caprica' For 'The Long Haul'
by Mike Moody, posted Feb 19th 2010 1:05PM
Despite low ratings and a mixed reception from genre fans, Syfy isn't ready to cash out its cubits and give up on 'Caprica' just yet. Mark Stern, Syfy's EVP of original programming, told Airlock Alpha that the cable net is committed to the show "for the long haul."
Stern says Syfy wasn't expecting the 'Battlestar Galactica' prequel series to become a hit right out of the gate, not even with fans of Ron Moore's celebrated sci-fi show.
"It's not 'Battlestar Galactica,' it's its own animal. And we definitely recognize that it's going to find its audience and it's going to grow its audience," he said.

What happened on this week's 'Caprica' season 1 episode 1, 'Pilot' -- in 100 words or less.Ah, so this is where it all begins -- with virtual nightclubs, train terrorists, avatars, group sex, virgin sacrifices, and daddy issues on the peaceful planet of Caprica.
Set some 50 years before 'Battlestar Galactica,' the Graystones and the Adamas are brought together by tragedy. Before young Zoe Graystone dies at the hand of a terrorist bomber, she perfected a virtual reality where kids could hang out. When Joseph Adama's wife and daughter die in the same attack, he and Daniel Graystone are brought together.
