BroadwayWorld.com is reporting that stage, film, and television star Robert Goulet has been in the hospital for over three weeks and is in critical condition. The star was experiencing shortness of breath a couple of months ago and found out that he has Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis, which is fatal.

Goulet had been in a Las Vegas hosptial when it was determined that he would not survive without a lung transplant. They don't do that in Las Vegas so he was moved to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles on October 12. He's waiting for a transplant.

Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! creator Merv Griffin is being treated for prostate cancer.

Griffin is hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. The cancer was discovered last month during a routine doctor's visit. According to his son Tony, Griffin is getting "great care." His doctors wanted to treat the cancer in a controlled setting, which is why Griffin has been hospitalized, and Griffin remains optimistic. Griffin went through prostate cancer once before.

Griffin has another game show coming up, Let's Play Crosswords. The show will premiere in syndication this fall across the country.

Former Prison Break actor Lane Garrison's SUV struck a tree on Saturday night in Beverly Hills killing one of its passengers and injuring the others. Inside the SUV were two 15 year-old girls, one 17 year-old boy and Garrison, who played David "Tweener" Apolskis on the hit Fox series. (His character was killed off earlier this season.)

The teenage boy on board was taken to Cedars-Sinai following the accident, where he died. One of the girls was critically injured. Garrison sustained minor injuries. There's no word on whether alcohol was involved, who was driving or why a 26 year-old actor had a bunch of teenagers in his SUV in the middle of the night.

This isn't Lane's first SUV accident this year. In October, Garrison was caught by paparazzi outside of LA's Hyde nightclub after a far less tragic accident in which he crashed his Land Rover into a parked car.
