A leash comes off, dogs play fight and things go generally awry during a segment with 'Dog Whisperer' Cesar Milan on the fourth hour of 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM ET on NBC).

Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford unsuccessfully attempt to wrangle a pair of dogs while discussing training techniques with Milan. Eventually, a handler steps in and removes one of the misbehaving pups while Milan looks on and laughs.

Leno Weekly: Chelsea Handler, Dr. Phil, Ewan McGregor and more!

Chelsea Handler, Playboy MagazineHey, a lot happens in five shows. Let's get right into it!

Arsenio Hall was featured twice this week. His first appearance was in a segment that had potential called "This Is What They Said/This Is What They Meant." I was expecting to see video clips of celebrities, politicians and the like spouting their same bullcrap, and then having Hall tell us what he thinks they really meant. Instead, it was Leno reading quotes, including historically famous ones like Julius Ceasar's "Et tu, Brute!" The gag didn't make sense anymore, and even worse the bits weren't funny.

Luckily, he came back later in the week with an on-site spot at Yankee Stadium, where he interviewed players from both teams and even set up a bet against a Yankees player and Phillies fan Kevin Eubanks involving Snuggies.

Fox hopes Dog Whisperer will make audiences sit up and beg

Cesar Milan, the Dog WhispererFox is looking to turn National Geographic's Cesar Millan, aka the Dog Whisperer, into a funny idea for a sitcom. And no, that's not the part they hope is funny.

The network is looking to cast That 70's Show's Wilmer Valderrama in the potential sitcom's title role, assuming it's called "The Dog Whisperer." Hung's co-executive producer Emily Kapnek will write the show's pilot.

If this gets to the air and becomes a wild success, just imagine the bar this could set for other reality show stars to get their own half-hour sitcom. Then again, try not to or your skull will cave in.
