'Glee,' a show often criticized for its uneven writing, is adding a fourth writer.

Yes, up until now, only three people -- Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan -- were writing 'Glee.' So, who is this new guy we can pin all of our hopes and dreams to? None other than comic book scribe and playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

That name sound familiar? That's because Aguirre-Sacasa is the man behind the 'Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark' rewrites. He's penned several episodes of 'Big Love' and wrote critically-acclaimed comics such as 'Marvel Knights: 4' and various 'Spider-Man' comics.

According to Deadline, Aguirre-Sacasa will also become a co-producer on 'Glee.' He's also been tapped to write a remake of 'Carrie' for the big screen.

In other TV news ...

• Cee Lo Green says all of the judges will be back on 'The Voice' next season. "We've already been secured for a second season, so prepare to see a lot more of myself, Christina, Blake and Adam, and a host of great artists doing their thing," Green said. [Reuters]

• Adam Shankman will only be one of a set of rotating guest judges on the new season of 'So You Think You Can Dance.' Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe will be the two resident judges. [Reality Blurred]

• David Fury of 'Lost' and 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' fame has joined the creative team of 'Fringe.' He'll serve as a writer and consulting producer on the Fox series. [Deadline]

(S03E12) Does Michael Weston work and play well with others? Umm, not really. He prefers being at the controls and calling the shots. Have you noticed that with Fiona and Sam, Michael is usually the de facto lead? And remember how he disliked working for Carla? Hence this relationship with Gilroy is problematic to say the least. This week was an example of just how difficult it's likely to be.

It seems like everyone is out to get Burn Notice's Michael Westen in one way or another. An old buddy from the spy days will come back to see him and he'll end up being a bad guy, or he'll have other evildoers trying to kill, control and/or blackmail him. Now we have another one coming to the show for four episodes, and it's someone who was in not one but two different recent FOX shows.

That's right, it's Cleveland from Family Guy and The Cleveland Show! OK, that's not true. It's actually someone who was in both Prison Break and Mental.

During the pilot episode of the new FOX drama Mental, Annabella Sciorra's Dr. Nora Skoff tells Chris Vance's Dr. Jack Gallagher that his recent decision to strip down butt-naked to help a patient deserves some of her Harvard business school advice - ask for royalties because the video of it is sure to be more popular than Paris Hilton's sex tape. To that, I offer some insight from a Syracuse University TV production graduate - there's a reason FOX held off on premiering Mental until the summer. It's not very good.

Who would have thought that this year we'd have two shows on the air with the word "mental" in them?

FOX has announced their summer lineup, and it includes a new medical drama titled House. Oh, sorry, I mean it's called Mental. It's about "a dynamic, young psychiatrist who serves as Director of Mental Health Services at a Los Angeles hospital. At work he must reconcile his effective, yet highly unorthodox treatment methods with his conservative boss, hospital administrator Nora Skoff (Annabella Sciorra), a woman with whom he shares a romantic past. As Gallagher takes on new cases, he is confronted with patients battling unknown, misunderstood and often misdiagnosed conditions." House Mental will star Chris Vance.

If you've watched FOX over the summer or read the upcoming season and episodes' official descriptions, you surely know of the big bombshell that will be revealed in the season premiere of Prison Break. It's clear that FOX wants its audience to know of that reveal before hand in order to lure some viewers back to the show and create a buzz around the show.

If you don't know what I'm talking about and don't want to know about it, don't read beyond the spoilers warning. I suggest you also stop watching FOX until September 1 at 8 p.m. and that you stay clear from anything Prison Break related. Because, as I've said before, it's clear the network wants you to know and they are not hiding that reveal at all.
