'Chuck' Co-Creator Chris Fedak on "Season 3.2"
by Joel Keller, posted Apr 21st 2010 3:04PM
If the last episode of 'Chuck' felt like a season finale... well, it's because it was. The episode was initially supposed to have a thirteen episode season, but NBC decided to order another six episodes. According to Chris Fedak, who co-created the show with Josh Schwartz, the good news came at an opportune time: as they were writing episode thirteen. In our wide-ranging talk, Fedak and I talked about how the pickup affected the writing process, how the new dynamic between the characters on the show is playing out, if he fears the energy will fizzle, why Tony Hale wasn't around this year, and if he's confident the show will get a season four.
(Warning: Fedak talked fast, so this is a long interview, with a very minor spoiler near the end. But there's a ton of good info for 'Chuck' fanatics, so read and enjoy!)
Will 'Chuck's' Last Six Eps Be As Good As the First Thirteen?
by Joel Keller, posted Apr 6th 2010 5:31PM
Most 'Chuck' fans know that last night's episode, 'Chuck Versus The Other Guy,' was originally designed to be the third season finale. That was, of course, before NBC surprised Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak with an order for six more episodes, bringing the total to 19.Don't get me wrong; 'Chuck Versus The Other Guy' was one of my favorite episodes this season. So many stories advanced and got tied together, it made for a very satisfying hour.
But that's because the stories were supposed to be wrapped up. For all Fedak and Schwartz knew, this was going to be the last episode they ever did. So, did things wrap up a little too neatly last night, leaving the last six episodes as some sort of long, energy-free epilogue? I'm not sure.
'Chuck' vs. WonderCon! Relationship and Finale Scoop from the Cast & Crew
by Jo Garfein, posted Apr 5th 2010 10:30AM
Yesterday at WonderCon, the cast and crew of 'Chuck' gathered in San Francisco to present tonight's new episode ('Chuck vs. The Other Guy'), address fan feedback and discuss the season finale. According to incredibly affable 'Chuck' star Zachary Levi, they wrapped filming on season 3 two weeks ago. However, he is not a fan of spoilers and heard that there was allegedly a mole on the set of the show. "We didn't even get the last four or five pages of the last script. That's the first time that ever happened. It always boggles my mind that people would want to spoil that. It takes away from the whole experience of any show, especially a show that's so rooted in certain mythologies."
Chuck season three: Press Kits Unwrapped
by Allison Waldman, posted Jan 3rd 2010 10:00AM

One of the pleasures of blogging here at TV Squad is getting a press kit from a network to promote a new or returning show. Sometimes it's just a folder with a screener. Sometimes it's a cornucopia of doo-dads and tchotchkas that might be cool. I've seen some reviewers build an entire wardrobe from press kit tee-shirts, hoodies and caps. So, it was with real excitement -- like the anticipation of a birthday gift -- when Fedex turned up with NBC Entertainment Publicity's big box of promotion for Chuck.
Chuck - VIDEO - Comic-Con Report
by Keith McDuffee, posted Jul 28th 2008 11:30PM

There are only so many hours of television I can fit in a day, so I'm picky and particular about what I watch. Chuck is one of those shows that I watched early last season, I liked it, but for reasons I can't think of, it didn't make the cut. Seeing as it was good enough and is clearly popular enough to have a second season, with the first season DVDs out in a couple of months, I may have to do some catching up and find a way to fit it in.
This session was great for fans of the show, as the first five minutes or so were filled with a video montage of scenes from next season. I'll describe some of those scenes in my summary below, but I'll start them off with SPOILER in case you don't want to know.
