Maggie Skips Her Flight to Try and Meet J.F.K. on 'Pan Am' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 10th 2011 4:00AM
This week, we finally delved a little deeper into what makes Maggie (Christina Ricci) tick on 'Pan Am' (Sun., 10PM ET on ABC). We also got to see some bonding between Kate and Colette, as the latter struggled emotionally on a trip to Berlin. This was 1963 after all, meaning she remembered the Nazi occupation of France from her childhood. But 1963 in Berlin means something else as well, and that's what showed us how determined Maggie can be when she sees something she wants. We learned that she volunteered the most hours of anyone during President Kennedy's run for office, but she missed out on an opportunity to meet him. At least, until Kennedy's infamous speech in Berlin in the summer of 1963.
Christina Ricci on Grey's Anatomy
by Anna Johns, posted Dec 22nd 2005 2:35PM
Not only is Christina Ricci making a guest appearance on Grey's Anatomy, she's doing it on the most
important night of the year for the hospital drama. ABC is airing her episode directly after the Super Bowl on February
5th. It's a huge opportunity for Grey's Anatomy. Obviously, ABC wants the episode to not only hold onto some of
the huge audience from the big game, but also to create new, regular viewers of the show. ABC is keeping the plot of the
program under wraps, only saying that Ricci arrives at Seattle Grace Hospital "not as a patient, but as someone in
a life-and-death situation." O-kay. February's appearance marks the third television acting appearance for Ricci
in recent memory, including a stint on Ally McBeal and a guest spot on Joey.Personally, I think ABC is holding a contest to see who is tinier, Ellen Pompeo or Christina Ricci? I'm going to have to go with Ellen Pompeo on this one, since Christina Ricci still looks like a healthy person.
