'Human Target' - 'Christopher Chance' Recap (Season Finale)
by Mike Moody, posted Apr 15th 2010 3:27PM

(S01E12) "Christopher Chance is the guy you go to when no one else can help you." - Christopher Chance to, er, Christopher Chance!
Last night's great season finale was capped off by a cliffhanger ending straight outta 'The Empire Strikes Back' -- a major player went missing, the plot was left unresolved, and a swelling John Williams-esque score filled the final moments. The cliffhanger felt even more poignant since Fox has yet to announce a second season renewal for 'Human Target.'
Hopefully, the network will take a, er, chance and order another full season of the show. 'Human Target' turned out to be one of the best and most enjoyable new series to premiere in the last few months. I've had a blast tagging along with Chance, Winston and Guerrero on their crazy adventures, and I'd love to see the boys regroup and save the day over and over again for another few years.
'Human Target' - 'Victoria' Recap
by Mike Moody, posted Apr 8th 2010 12:45PM

(S01E11) "You a hot mess." - Winston to Guerrero.
Chance rubbed elbows with royalty on last night's 'Human Target.' But while Fox's pre-show introduction (starring a couple of 'Glee' kids) promised big thrills and explosions, "Victoria" failed to deliver any truly spectacular action sequences. At least we got to see the show sorta return to its original premise, with Chance posing as someone close to the client to protect her from the threat. It seems like he hasn't done that in quite a while.
Winston and Guerrero got themselves into a pretty tight spot during this ep. It's always fun to see these two paired up out in the field instead of stuck in a room staring at computer screens or talking on cell phones. Follow me after the jump to discuss last night's Crown conspiracy.
Protecting the Princess on 'Human Target' (VIDEO)

Christopher Chance (Mark Valley) is the star of 'Human Target' (Wed., 8PM ET on Fox). He's a private special agent who goes undercover every week to protect the lives of his clients. On the latest episode of the show, Chance finds himself in a very British situation: he's protecting Princess Victoria (Christina Cole), a member of the English royal family. To make things even more British, the two of them find themselves in a shoot-out in a room filled with swords, shields, and ancient suits of armor.Watch the video after the jump.
Christopher Chance Escapes from a Watery Grave on 'Human Target' (VIDEO)

James Bond's got nothin' on Christopher Chance on 'Human Target' (8PM ET on Fox). Dumped into a swimming pool? No problem. Shoot somebody from under the water? Piece of cake. All with grace and charm. In fact, the next time they're looking for a new 007, we nominate Mark Valley. But only if they shoot between seasons. We need our 'Target' fix.
Nice to see TV veteran Peter Wingfield as the bad guy, too.

Christopher Chance and Baptiste Face Off on 'Human Target' (VIDEO)

The downside of training someone with your awesome assassin skills is that you never know when you might have to face off against them. Christopher Chance learned that the hard way when he and Baptiste had it out on 'Human Target' (Wed., 8PM ET on Fox). But they must be evenly matched because both were standing after the fight, and Baptiste even managed to blow up a building in the process. Everyone made it out, though. Bollocks!

Christopher Chance Boards a Plane the Hard Way on 'Human Target' (VIDEO)
by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 10th 2010 10:57PM
Say you have to get on a plane, but the plane can't land because the Army has seized the airfield (don't ask questions; just go with us here).Sure, it's an impossible task, unless you're Christopher Chance on 'Human Target' (Wed., 8PM ET on Fox).
The solution involves a very long rope, a sturdy net, and a pretty girl to kiss for encouragement. See? That wasn't so hard, was it?

Christopher Chance Takes Control on 'Human Target' (VIDEO)

Talk about awkward. On 'Human Target' (Wed., 8PM ET on FOX), Christopher Chance finds himself in a moving car with the very people trying to kill his client - who's sitting right next to him.Of course, he does what we'd expect him to do. Take out the bad guys and get control of the car. This show delivers a Bruce Willis movie every single week!

Jackie Earle Haley On the Dark Side of 'Human Target'
by Nick Zaino, posted Feb 3rd 2010 2:00PM
As Guerrero on 'Human Target,' Jackie Earle Haley doesn't get to fly planes, parachute out of trains, or charm his way into an embassy party. That job goes to Christopher Chance, the title character played to perfection by Mark Valley. But Haley does get to play the more interesting character -- the mysterious guy behind the scenes, the one who can find any information you need about anyone or anything, the guy who, when threatened by thugs, will accept their initial beat-down and tell them in great detail who he will kill in their sleep first, offering condolences the wife and kids.
Through the first three episodes, there are few concrete details about Guerrero's past, and aspect of the character that Haley enjoys. "That's what's fun about this guy, it seems like we're kind of all learning it together." he said during a conference call with the media.
