'Chuck' - 'Chuck Versus the Honeymooners' Recap
'Chuck' - 'Chuck Versus The Other Guy' Recap
(S03E13) This would have been an excellent season finale. In fact, had NBC stuck by their original episode order quantity for 'Chuck,' this would be the season finale. But they didn't so it isn't. We did see the storylines for this season thus far wrap up nicely with the added bonus of seeing the next logical step of the one that has been around since the first season. The episode was particularly enjoyable. There was comedy, drama, romance and a little bit of action (although more action happened off-screen, but there was enough emotional action to more than make up for it).
'Chuck' - 'Chuck Versus the Final Exam' Recap

(S03E11) In tonight's episode, Clark Kent was taking orders from Superman. Chuck did look a little like Clark Kent in that outfit, didn't he?
Hasn't General Beckman and the government given Chuck enough tests? He probably already has more field time than most of their other agents. It seems pretty obvious that Chuck doesn't actually want to be a spy, particularly when being a spy requires the ability to kill a person in cold blood. He just wants to be with Sarah. He'd be a better tech guy, the "Q" to Sarah's Bond.
More discussion after the jump.
'Chuck' - 'Chuck Versus the Tic Tac' Recap

(S03E10) The mission tonight was all about decisions. Decisions, decisions. Turned out there were choices made in the past, present and future that had a major effect on Chuck, Sarah and Casey, especially the latter. For more on that, and Robert Patrick's bad breath, read on after the jump.
Could the Gang be Breaking Up on 'Chuck'? (VIDEO)
Well, this is just sad. It's hard to imagine Col. Casey as a civilian, but that's how it's looking on 'Chuck' (Mon., 8PM ET on NBC).You knew Gen. Beckman wasn't fooling around when she called him Mr. Casey and asked Chuck to escort him off government property. Not that Beckman would ever fool around. She never even cracks a smile.
And could Sarah really be relocating to Washington, D.C.? Slow down! Everything's changing too fast for us!

Chuck Tells Morgan He's a Spy on 'Chuck' (VIDEO)
"Chuck, you are officially re-hired as my best friend!" That was the reaction from Morgan when Chuck revealed that he's a spy on 'Chuck' (Mon., 8PM ET on NBC).We loved Morgan's geeky delight upon learning that his best friend is "a member of a joint NSA/CIA black ops team that is stationed here in Burbank." We expected nothing less than glee from Morgan, and he so delivered.
Where will it go from here? We can't wait to find out.

Chuck and Hannah Kiss on 'Chuck' (VIDEO)
Things heated up in a major way between Chuck and Hannah on last night's 'Chuck' (Mon., 8PM on NBC). She put the moves on him, which resulted in a big smooch between the two.But then she saw Sarah on the security camera, meeting up with Daniel Shaw (Brandon Routh). Inside Joke Alert: "Who, him?" says Chuck. "Nah. Yeah, if you're into that strong, kind of 'Superman' type of guy."

Review: 'Chuck' - 'Chuck Versus the Mask'

(S03E07) This was the last 'Chuck' until after the Winter Olympics, so it was important that we made some progress with the intersect -- natch -- and also the Hannah and Sarah situations. Ever since she flew into Chuck Bartowski's life, Hannah has seemed too good to be true. Is she really? And what of Chuck and Sarah's on/off relationship? Fortunately, we got a good take on it all, as well as some edge-of-the-seat thrills. More after the jump.
Christopher Lloyd Will Be a Doc on 'Chuck'
The February 8th episode of 'Chuck' will be the last until after the Olympics, so here's a bit a news that should keep all 'Chuck' devotees panting for the return. Christopher Lloyd will be guesting on 'Chuck' in the spring. He's playing a psychiatrist/therapist/shrink who Chuck consults with when the rigors of morphing into a spy starts to get to Agent Bartowski. This will hopefully be a case of the right actor in the right role and the writers rise to the occasion to create something memorable. There's every reason to hope for big things because executive producer Josh Schwartz has admittedly being a geek when it comes to anything related to 'Back to the Future.' Having Doctor Emmett "Doc" Brown in the house should be an inspiration, don't you think?
Ellie Gets Suspicious on 'Chuck' (VIDEO)
Uh oh. We know that Captain Awesome knows Chuck's secret because, well, thanks to a case of mistaken identity, Awesome was all gung ho on the spy business just a few weeks ago. But now Ellie is starting to suspect that something's going down, and Morgan is totally on board with that. But when Awesome is aghast that Chuck would just lie to Ellie's face, we have to agree with Chuck. "There are some things she's better off not knowing." Watch 'Chuck' Mon., 8PM ET on NBC.

Chuck: Chuck Versus the First Kill

(S02E20) Trust. Five little letters that represent so, so much. For Chuck, trust has been key to his agreeing to be the American government's good little intersect. He's gone along with all the dangerous assignments, put his life on the line, lied to his friends and family, and every step of the way, he's trusted that Casey and Sarah and the General are working for the country's best interest, and by extension, his best interest.
After convincing the General that the only way to keep Fulcrum from getting their own intersect, the one not in Chuck's head, was to steal back Orion before he succeeds in building another unit. The fact that Orion was also Steve Bartowski -- Chuck's primary objective, i.e. "get back dad" -- was evident. However, for appearances, he let the team believe that he believed saving the interset was the most important thing.
On the 3rd day of Festivus, TV gave to me... - VIDEOS

...three Zachs for viewing.
Perhaps it's just coincidence, but right now our TV world has a trio of superb young actors in very different programs and they're all named Zach. Coincidence or the fact that the year they were born, Zachary was a really popular name for baby boys? Whatever, the bottom line is that Zach Braff, Zachary Levi, and Zachary Quinto are terrific and Scrubs, Chuck and Heroes, respectively, wouldn't be the same without them.
What's really interesting about these three Zachs, beside the fact that they all share the same first name, is that they could probably all play each other's roles -- even though it's hard to imagine Braff or Levi as evil, they're good enough to do it. And Zachary Quinto has done the nerdy, computer guy when he was on 24.
It's interesting, but if you squint a little and tilt your head, they all could look like they're brothers. However, while the Three Zs may pass as the Three Amigos if you put them in sombreros, they are definitely making the TV world a much happier landscape.
Chuck: Chuck Versus the Sensei

(S02E09) This season we've met Sarah's high school nemesis, who turned out to be a rogue spy, Chuck's ex-girlfriend, who turned out to be a rogue spy, and we had a return of Bryce, who was a spy from an opposing agency. This week, we met John Casey's former sensei, who is now a rogue spy. This brings me to a few conclusions...
First, the CIA really has a horrible retention program for its employees (most likely due to the pudding cups being eliminated from the cafeteria). Second, other than Chuck, his immediate family, and the employees at Buy More, everyone else is a rogue agent. Therefore, this little trio of agents will be eliminating the bad seeds from California for the next 22 seasons. Well, at least there's the job security.
Chuck: Chuck Versus the Fat Lady
(S02E07) "Viva Buymoria." - Morgan
The Jill Roberts trilogy continues. Last week we were introduced to Chuck's ex-girlfriend in an episode where, not only did Mr. Bartowski save the world (or, at least, the little part of the world surrounding him in California), but he also got the girl. This week we got to see more of the budding relationship between the two as well as a Charles who, for the first time in awhile, was feeling like a normal human being.
The question on everyone's mind was if the relationship could last between the two. Particularly with the uber-hot Sarah working very, very closely with Chuck on a daily basis. Well, if I told you now I would probably be canceled faster than My Own Worst Enemy. So, if you want to know the answer please click ahead.Chuck: Chuck Versus Tom Sawyer
(S02E05) I knew it! Others have thought video games were nothing but mind-numbing entertainment that produced a generation of nerds, dweebs, and creators of Red Bull. But they were more...much more. They were keys to, pardon the phrase, weapons of mass destruction. What dual roles have other video games had during their history? Space Invaders as the guide map for the invasion of Iraq? Pac-Man the secret plan to solve America's energy crisis? And...and...what about Grand Theft Auto? Okay, that's really mind-numbing entertainment. But, that's beside the point!
This is just further proof that you need to take your children's video game consoles and toss them into the deepest pit in the farthest land. Well, except for the Wii, because you can exercise and play games at the same time. Brilliant! And, hey, if your kids ask you where they should put their missile launch codes, tell them to place them in a shoe box under their beds. Just the way you did when you were their age.
Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. Let's get on with this week's review.
