Here are the weekly TV ratings, by number of viewers.

NBC hits #1! OK, it's football and it's probably a temporary thing (plus it's the holidays), but they did it, and NBC even got a few more shows into the top 20 (even if they were temporary reality shows). I'm getting a little sick of typing the letters "CBS" each and every week though, at least when they're attached to shows like CSI. Interesting that 60 Minutes hit #3, considering it was a repeat.

1. Sunday Night Football (NBC)

• Colbert and Stewart are both returning after New Year's, without writers.
  
• Rainn Wilson will host this year's Spirit Awards (and be allowed to write for it).
  
• Nick Lachey's choir was chosen as winner of Clash of the Choirs.
  

• At 8, CBS has Frosty the Snowman, followed by Frosty Returns.
• NBC has a new Clash of the Choirs at 8, then season (series?) finale of Journeyman.
• ABC has a new Duel at 8.
• There's a new Crowned on The CW at 8, then a new Gossip Girl.
• PBS has a new Wired Science at 8.
• ABC Family has Year Without A Santa Claus at 8 (Heat Miser!), then Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys.
• Also at 8: Food Network has Rachael Ray's Holiday Entertaining in 60, then Sandra Lee's Semi-Homemade Holiday.
• At 9, CBS has a new Criminal Minds, then a new CSI: NY.
• Hallmark has A Grandpa For Christmas at 9.
• At 10, ABC has A Holiday Celebration at Ford's Theater.
• TBS has two new episodes of Tyler Perry's House of Payne at 10.
• HBO has Inside the NFL at 10.

Not even Christmas is safe from reality show producers.

The people who brought you Dancing with the Stars have another show up their sleeves: Clash of the Choirs. It will pit five celebrity singers who will go back to their hometowns and try to build a choir. Once the choirs are built and perform live, viewers will vote for them via phone (of course). The winner gets to pick a prize for their hometown (I suggest maybe passing a law that says no reality shows can be filmed in their hometowns). The four episode show will run just before Christmas, December 17-20.
