When it comes to gross, time-wasting late-night TV games, 'Watch What Happens Live' (Thursdays and Sundays, 11PM on Bravo) is the clear-cut intergalactic champion. On Thursday's edition, host Andy Cohen and his guests Susie Essman and Jeff Lewis celebrated 'Pit-stille Day' by looking at pictures of a woman's hairy armpit and guessing to whom it belonged.

For the first armpit, Cohen gave them the choice of Beyonce, Rihanna, or NeNe Leakes. "You know, I don't want to say what that looks like," said Essman. Cohen was thinking the same thing. Essman and Lewis both guessed wrong, as it turned out to be Beyonce. For a particularly unattractive patch, they were given the choices of Julia Roberts, Amy Winehouse, or Courtney Love. Surprisingly, it was Roberts.

Essman wound up the champion, and received a $1,000 gift certificate for hair removal as a prize. Lewis was happy he didn't win. "I would never have used that," he said. Cohen said he had heard otherwise. Oh, the dalliances of the Hollywood hirsute.

It's been barely 24 hours since Larry King announced the end of his 25 year old CNN show on Twitter (Larry King tweets?!), then on his show. 'Larry King Live' will end in September, and perhaps not a moment too soon.

So let the guessing begin: who will assume Larry's suspenders? Piers Morgan? Ryan Seacrest? We humbly ask CNN not to rush into anything and consider our choices for their coveted prime time slot.

John Edwards. With CNN's recent hire of Eliot Spitzer, disgrace is hot! Spitzer was actually quite good backing up Dylan Ratigan on MSNBC, and Edwards is even smoother (perhaps too smooth). Years of campaigning -- not to mention his background as a trial lawyer – would seem to make asking the tough questions and offering analysis just about second nature to the former Vice Presidential candidate. And hey, where is Edwards anyway?

Surprise, surprise: Courtney Love is too crude for national daytime television. While explaining her decision to record an album under the band name Hole despite the fact she's the last original member, Love reveals alternate names she once considered for the band and is censored on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated).

Love shares three alternate band names and all except one -- Babes in Toyland -- are bleeped by network censors. Use your imagination to fill in the blanks.

It's been six years since Courtney Love appeared on the 'Late Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS), due in part (we can assume) to her risque behavior -- flashing the host -- on that particular visit. Not that David Letterman didn't enjoy it...

Believe it or not, the feel-good primetime hit 'Glee' is about to get even better ... and it's all thanks to Madonna.

The Golden Globe-winning series returns to Fox on April 13 with a tribute to the music icon, featuring the cast covering what's sure to be show-stopping renditions of some of Madge's greatest hits, including the '80s-defining 'Borderline,' an acoustic version of power-ballad 'Crazy for You' and the more recent '4 Minutes.' Even Sue Sylvester gets into the groove, coaching the Cheerios through an energetic performance of 'Express Yourself' and taking lead on 'Vogue.'

"It's big...huge," 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy recently told Entertainment Weekly about the episode, which he's directing, yet he won't reveal whether or not Madonna will be making a cameo. What we do know is that the special episode will feature grander productions and at least 10 hits. We wouldn't expect anything less.

Madonna's decision to lend 'Glee' her entire catalog stems from the fact that she's a fan of the spunky song-and-dance show. Of course, the timing is also perfect for the master self-promoter, who is releasing a live DVD-CD of her Sticky & Sweet Tour on March 30, followed by the concert's April 2 TV premiere on VH1.

We're pretty sure that the 'Glee' and VH1 specials, as well as Madge's March guest stint on Jerry Seinfeld's new show, 'The Marriage Ref,' will eventually find a place in our ever-expanding compilation of Madonna's Memorable TV Moments.

Ah, the celebrity roast. Comedy Central resurrected the tried and true comedian ass-kiss off with hilarious specials featuring Denis Leary, Flavor Flav, Bob Saget and William #*$&$ing Shatner. Then came the capper: a roast of music legend Willie Nelson. It was a shift in evolution so great, it could have made Charles Darwin buy into the theory of intelligent design.

Then the network caused a global groan so loud that it shifted the tectonic plates when they announced that Nelson had to cancel and they would replace him with Larry the Cable Guy.

It's such an obvious and safe choice that might be a good recipe for ratings, but it's a sure fire recipe for boring. Here are the iconic stars who would have made much better kindling for a white hot comedy roast.

If we are to believe every rumor we hear in Hollywood, then every guy is the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby, and every girl wants Paula Abdul's cushy Idol judging job.

Move over Courtney and Belinda. This week it's Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham who is hoping for Paula's dismissal. According to this exclusive, replacing Paula with Posh is the brainchild of Beckham's manager, Simon Fuller, who also serves as Idol's Executive Producer.

But Paula is not going anywhere as long Simon Cowell remains on her side. Victoria's bid for a spot on the high-profile TV juggernaut was apparently blocked by Cowell.

The Paula Abdul replacement rumors just won't go away. First we had the Courtney Love prank. And now, according to the latest gossip, former Go-Go's lead singer, Belinda Carlisle, was approached a couple of years ago to replace the bubbly, babbling celebrity judge.

When asked if she wanted to be a judge on the show, Carlisle answered, "I really don't know. To be perfectly honest, it's just not my thing. I'd rather listen to music that comes from a more organic place. But you know, I just ... don't know if I would or not."

This bit of news is according to Courtney Love and US Magazine... so two strikes against it already. Courtney tells the gossip rag that American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe contacted her about appearing as a judge. The magazine takes that to mean that Love will replace Paula Abdul but that sounds like a load of crap to me. I imagine that she's been invited to appear as a guest judge, which is a common practice for American Idol.

Plus, she'll make Paula look good.

*Update: US magazine says an 'imposter' phoned Courtney, which makes a lot more sense than her appearing on American Idol.

VH1 has picked up five documentaries for its Rock Doc series, and they're pretty darn interesting. Alright, four of the five of them sound interesting. The fifth is a Courtney Love documentary, which maybe only qualifies as interesting in that "can't tear my eyes from the car wreck" kinda way.

The series aims to bring "untold stories" with an "unconventional narrative approach" to the screen. Three of the five films are acquisitions, which means that documentary filmmakers may have a new avenue for hawking their wares. The series starts up December 16th and continues into 2007.

From the Totally Unsubstantiated Rumor file: Page Six is "reporting" this morning that a cashed-strapped Courtney Love - slimmed down and drug free but apparently broke as all get out – is working on selling the rights to her late husband Kurt Cobain's musical output. This comes after a messy, multi-year battle between Love and Cobain's former band mates Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic (as well as original drummer Chad Channing, at least according to the Sixers) over the future of the Nirvana catalogue: if I remember correctly, the boys wanted to put everything in the hands of the fans, whilst Love wanted to slowly parcel out the outakes and rarities to ensure the maximum padding for Frances Bean's college fund. Page Six says Love is looking for $100 million.
