Too Many Confessions Complicate Things for the 'CSI' Team (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 29th 2011 6:00AM
Sometimes those aggressive tactics in the interrogation rooms can lead to false positives. That's what happened when Brass terrified a kid about getting destroyed in prison on 'CSI' (Wed., 10PM ET on CBS). The kid apparently thought they had him over a barrel, even though he didn't do it, so he confessed to the murders to try and get leniency.Case closed, until a young woman came in saying they had the wrong guy and she was the one who murdered the family. Only later, they find more evidence in another guys' truck and when they bring him in for questioning, his father shows up and says he killed the family.

'Two and a Half Men' isn't the only show getting a new lead actor on television. For the second time in its run, 'CSI' (Wed., 10PM ET on CBS) welcomed a new leading man to the fold. They let the audience meet D.B. Russell (Ted Danson) alongside Stokes, who was coming back to the team after a three-week training session. So we got to share in his confusion when we walked onto the crime scene and saw Russell lying there next to two dead bodies. "You must be Stokes," he said with a smile.
"Yeah," Stokes replied. "You must be contaminating the crime scene."
BREAKING: Ted Danson Named New 'CSI' Boss
by Maggie Furlong, posted Jul 12th 2011 10:20PM
The lab at 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' has been in some very capable hands over the years -- first William Petersen, then Laurence Fishburne and now Ted Danson is taking over the reins.EW is reporting that Danson will be the drama's leading man for the upcoming 12th season, playing the CSI's grave shift supervisor after transferring from the Portland crime lab.
"You can create a new character on the page, but until the perfect actor comes along and breathes life into it, it's just words," said executive producer Carol Mendelsohn. "We're very excited Ted Danson came along."
After CBS's exhaustive search to find a worthy person to pass the torch to, they actually managed to come up with an intriguing, well-known and likable choice -- and one that we never thought of.
