How did the Scooby gang get together anyway?
by Bob Sassone, posted Aug 4th 2009 6:04PM
Ever wonder how the Scooby gang got together to solve crimes? Cartoon Network has a new live-action movie coming this fall titled Scooby-Doo: The Mystery Begins that tells the story. Here's the trailer. I don't like how Scooby is done in these movies, but I guess a real dog would be even worse.
Live action Scooby Doo coming to TV and DVD

Just in case the first two Scooby Doo movies left you with unanswered questions, there is some good news. A third movie is in the works and this one will be direct-to-TV-and-DVD.The new movie is intended as a prequel and will be called Scooby Doo: In The Beginning. It will star lesser-known actors (and by lesser I mean virtually not known at all) since the original actors have moved on with their careers. It will be about the Scooby Gang solving mysteries together for the first time.
Five spinoffs I would like to see
by Paul Goebel, posted Sep 28th 2007 11:05AM
When one of our favorite TV shows goes off the air, it always brings sadness. However, many times, the silver lining in the cancellation is the birth of a spinoff. Sometimes it can be a great thing (Lou Grant) and sometimes the results can be less than ideal (Joey).
Here are some spinoff ideas that I would love to see.
Niles & Daphne
After Frasier leaves Seattle, Niles and Daphne are forced to take in Martin and Eddie. Daphne has to deal with Martin's new and more protective physical therapist (Patti Labelle). To make things worse, Maris moves in next door with her new husband (Jeff Goldblum).
