'Dancing With the Stars' Week Seven Elimination (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 2nd 2011 12:15AM
'Dancing With the Stars'If you were to go by the judges' scores this week on 'Dancing With the Stars' (Tue., 9PM ET on ABC), we'd be saying goodbye to Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus. She had the lowest combined totals from the judges across two performances this week.

But we know that America doesn't always agree with the judges, and popularity is as much a factor as anything else. David Arquette and J.R. Martinez also scored below a 50, but really it could've been virtually anyone going as the scores tend to tighten up as we near the end of competition.

David Arquette Started a Feud With 'X Factor' by Using Simon Cowell's Toilet (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 27th 2011 3:45AM
David Arquette, 'Chelsea Lately''Dancing With the Stars' films their show very close to 'The X Factor' set, which means some tight quarters for those involved with either show. David Arquette talked on 'Chelsea Lately' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on E!) how those close quarters may have started a bit of a feud between the two shows.

Apparently, the offense was that Arquette used Simon Cowell's bathroom, which didn't go over well at all. In his words, "I took a dump in Simon Cowell's bathroom and then everybody got all up in arms."

'Dancing With the Stars' Week 6: Maks & Len Have a Major Fallout

by Crystal Bell, posted Oct 24th 2011 11:40PM
Oh Maks, sometimes you need to really hold in your feisty temper. Maks definitely brought the drama to 'Dancing With the Stars' this week -- but not in the way you're probably thinking. In fact, I don't think anyone saw this coming.

Maks and Len had a total fall-out in the ballroom this week, after Len criticized Hope, calling her rumba "her worst dance of the whole season." Well, Maks didn't quite like that and riled up the already cheering crowd, interrupting Len's critique. That's when Len snapped.

You see, Len gets the reputation for being the most critical judge for a reason. He actually judges for skill, and as he pointed out, he's been doing it for quite some time now. And that's where Maks decided to tell Len that maybe it was time for him to quit. His exact words: "Maybe it's time to go!" Oh snap.

'Dancing With the Stars' Week 5: Ricki's Roger Rabbit Flops, J.R. Shines

by Crystal Bell, posted Oct 17th 2011 11:20PM
Ricki Lake & Derek go '80sIt was '80s night on 'Dancing With the Stars' this week and that meant big hair, big shoulder pads, acid brights, a guest performance by The Bangles and ... Roger Rabbit?

The seemingly unstoppable Ricki Lake didn't look so smooth doing the Roger Rabbit this week, even after some encouragement from surprise guest, filmmaker John Waters, who gave Ricki her big break in 1988's 'Hairspray.'

Unfortunately, Ricki just couldn't find the beat this week, and that definitely hurt her scores. After scoring two 10s last week for her thrilling 'Psycho' tango and being atop the leaderboard for three weeks in a row, Ricki dropped the ball this week, only scoring a 24 and losing her top spot to J.R. Martinez.

'Dancing With the Stars' Week Four: Ricki Gets a Perfect 10 & Cher Cries Over Chaz!

by Crystal Bell, posted Oct 10th 2011 11:59PM
CHER!Let's face it: You don't really want a recap this week. You just want to know how many times the 'Dancing With the Stars' cameras panned to Cher. So, I'm going to try and do both.

Cher looked like a proud mama watching her son dance to the theme from 'Rocky.' it was Chaz's best performance ... EVER (but I'm not changing my mind about this). It even brought Carrie Ann -- and Cher! -- to tears. However, did the crowd really give Cher a standing ovation when Chaz mentioned her? Chaz, you may have had your best dance of the competition, but you still got served by your mother. Granted, your mother is Cher.

Speaking of Cher, one of my favorite parts of the night was watching Cher's reactions to the judges critiquing Chaz. She was cheering, clapping, jumping and even praying -- yes, praying. It was pretty adorable.

David Arquette, 'Late Show with David Letterman'When celebrities are married to other celebrities, it's become a common courtesy to ask about their famous other half during interviews. But the courtesy gets a little murky when dealing with unhealthy marriages as we saw with David Arquette on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS).

Luckily, Arquette appeared to develop the giggles through the course of the interview, so there was no chance he was made uncomfortable by the question. We did love his response to David Letterman's initial question asking how Courteney Cox was.

"Courteney's fantastic," he said, and then after a pause. "We're still separated."

Nancy Grace Explains How Michael Jackson Helped Her Say 'Yes' to 'Dancing With the Stars'

by Michael Maloney, posted Aug 30th 2011 7:00AM
'Dancing With the Stars' Season 13 cast

It remains to be seen who'll emerge as the front-runner on the 13th season of 'Dancing With the Stars,' which debuts Monday, Sept. 19 at 8PM ET on ABC. But, by early indications, contestant Nancy Grace is the one to beat on the press line.

The outspoken Grace didn't mince words as to why she came to L.A. to do the show. She's here anyway to cover the Michael Jackson murder case.

"I understand the defense attorney wants the jury sequestered from Nancy Grace," says the former prosecutor. "I can only say that his client is charged with standing by, talking on the phone to his girlfriend while the King of Pop, a music icon, lay on that bed and died ... I don't think it was altogether a bad thing that they asked the jury to be sequestered from me."

Grace is hoping that this trial sends a message that even rich celebrities accused of crimes deserve justice.

"Many people are still angry at Michael Jackson over the molestation charges. What many of them don't see is that Lady Justice is blind to the defendant and the victim. It doesn't matter what Jackson did or didn't do. It's a slippery slope to start judging victims."

David Arquette on 'Live With Regis and Kelly'David Arquette talked about whether he and Courteney Cox will wind up getting back together today on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated). He said he still loves Cox, especially her honesty and sense of humor, and that "You can't just throw away 15 years of a relationship and destroy a family just because people change." But he noted there are longstanding differences that may hamper a reunion.

"I don't know if we'll be getting back together, you know, we have a lot of compatibility issues," said Arquette. "Things that at the beginning of the relationship, we're like, 'I don't know if this is going to work out.'"

Both he and Cox have been stifling aspects of their personalities for the sake of the relationship, Arquette said. That leaves them at a crossroads of deciding if they'd want to continue that going forward.

"This is sober living that's going on here," Kimmel confirmed, because it sure wasn't clear based on Arquette's movements.

When the conversation shifted to working with Courteney Cox, Arquette is happy with that relationship as well.
