"I'm proud of the performance of ABC Daytime over that time, and of all of the accomplishments that our team achieved along the way. I'm especially pleased by the early results for 'The Chew' and excited for the launch of 'The Revolution,' which will be one more positive step in transforming ABC Daytime for our viewers. I'll miss my colleagues and the wonderful talent that makes our shows, but know they are in very capable hands with Vicki going forward."

Rich Frank and Jeff Kwatinetz of Prospect Park made the announcement following several months of planning."After five months of negotiations with various guilds, hundreds of presentations to potential financial and technology partners, and a hope that we could pioneer a new network for the future, it is with great disappointment that we are suspending our aspirations to revive 'One Life to Live' and 'All My Children' via online distribution," the duo said in a statement. by Alex Moaba, posted Nov 16th 2011 5:00PM
There are so many puzzling elements to the Justin Bieber paternity scandal. Is he the father? Is Mariah Yeater a liar? Will he be doing a paternity test on 'Maury'? But, in advance of Bieber's interview next week on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC), Barbara Walters has been pondering one question in particular: is Bieber a virgin?"Do you think he's a virgin?" she asked the Hasselbeck-less panel, causing her fellow-hosts to start chattering over each other. "I think we decided we don't actually care," Whoopi Goldberg said. "It's none of our business" Sherri Sheppard responded. "He's not free to go through puberty on his own ... leave him alone," Joy Behar said.
Taken aback by their response, Barbara reconsidered asking Bieber if he was still in possession of his V-Card. "Then I just won't do it," she joked.

Tyra Banks staged an 'America's Next Top Model' photo shoot on 'The Talk' (Weekdays, Syndicated on CBS), featuring the hostesses as the models. She gave them emotions to express and then outlandish situations in which to do it.Julie Chen had perhaps more fun than even we expected when she was tasked to show "Lust" with a gorilla in the shoot. She got so into it she climbed up on the back of the guy in the gorilla suit.
You just know she was jealous when she saw that Sara Gilbert, who was emoting "Desire," got to do so with three topless guys with way less fur and much better physiques than the gorilla. Gilbert seemed to enjoy herself more than any of the other women.

A Farewell (For Now) To 'All My Children'

The 'All My Children' scrapbook is closing. After a 41-year run, the series will broadcast its final episode today on ABC.Created by Agnes Nixon, the serial debuted on January 5, 1970 and, from the beginning, blended social issues with a diverse cast of multi-generational characters set in the fictional town of Pine Valley.
Late soap opera historian Christopher Schemering called Nixon in 1988 "the most respected and influential writer in daytime drama" and wrote that 'AMC' was a "winning mixture of socially oriented drama, young love and drawing room comedy."
Nixon had actually written the bible for 'AMC' back in the '60s, but the show wasn't picked up until years later.
Kathy Griffin Gets Naked -- Often -- At Anderson Cooper's House (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 14th 2011 2:00AM
Anderson Cooper invited Kathy Griffin to stay at his house, and while he may have been surprised by a lot of what went down, we certainly weren't. He had Griffin on his new show, 'Anderson' (Weekdays, Syndicated), where he showed some of the footage. It was almost 'Too Hot for TV!'To make matters worse, the first night Griffin was in his house, she was there alone. That freed her up to send pictures of herself in various states of undress, draped all over his house. Clearly she was making herself more than comfortable in his house.
She then crawled into bed to continue making him uncomfortable, asking him if he wanted to touch her, and even revealing that she's wearing his underwear. But nowhere turned out to be safe from her shenanigans.
