Ahead of the 'Jersey Shore' finale, Sammi and Denna stopped by the fourth hour of 'Today' (weekdays, 9AM ET on NBC) for a chat with Kathie Lee and Hoda. They watched some slow-motion footage of Deena falling on her face, briefly bonded over their shared love of booze, and then Kathie Lee told them she couldn't tell the 'Jersey Shore' guys apart.

About mid-way through the interview, it became entertainingly clear that neither host has been keeping up with the show, as Hoda asked if they were dating anyone, either from 'Jersey Shore' or outside it. When the producers put a graphic of Ronnie up on the screen, Kathie Lee asked, "Are you guys fighting over him? Who is that, Paulie D?"

Jay Leno knew exactly what a Jersey Turnpike was when he asked Deena Cortese about it on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). He just wanted to hear the 'Jersey Shore' cast member explain the dance move.

When she stumbled around to find the words, he suggested she just go ahead and show him. Luckily for him -- or not, depending on your perspective -- Ed Helms was the first guest, and he was still on the couch, so Deena invited him to dance with her.

The move required very little from him. He simply stood there, while she backed up into him and shook her butt. "That's a Jersey Turnpike?" Helms marveled when it was over. "I had another name for that."

Deena Cortese said Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards ceremony was "the best night of my life" on 'Good Day LA' (weekdays, 9AM PT on Fox). She got to meet a lot of celebrities, and found they were fans of hers, and 'Jersey Shore.'

Deena was most thrilled with meeting Lady Gaga, which almost made her cry. "Never in my life I thought that Neo, Beyonce, like, Lady Gaga, Pippa," she said, "like, they would come up and like say they watch us. Seth, like, Rogen, like, Jonah Hill's like, it was insane, and I was just like Jersey Turnpiking Seth Rogen. Like, it was amazing."

'Jersey Shore' took some time off from Jersey this season, and Deena Cortese took some time off from making out with guys on a recent episode. Her girl-makeout session caught the attention of Kit Hoover and Arsenio Hall, who asked her about it on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC).

Cortese said she found her share of both men and women when she was in Italy. The woman was cute, and Cortese said she's a very open person by nature, and she just did what came naturally. "At that moment, that's what I wanted to try and do," she said. "So I went for it, and you all got to see it."
