Dina Lohan Talks 'Living Lohan,' Wants to Appear on 'Millionaire Matchmaker' (VIDEO)
The Lohan clan has had its share of public meltdowns and scandals, including Lindsay's struggle with addiction. Of course, the reality show 'Living Lohan,' in which Dina Lohan tried to jumpstart her younger daughter Ali's career didn't help things. Dina went on 'Wendy Williams' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS) set the record straight and talk about moving on, perhaps with the help of Patti Stanger of 'Millionaire Matchmaker.' Dina repeated her claim that producers wanted her and her family to stage little dramas for 'Living Lohan,' which she was unwilling to do. "I did that show to pretty much set the record straight, as well, but then they wanted us to do all these crazy things like me fake a pregnancy," she said. "It's just not us. It was just not who we are as a family, you know, so I opted out."
Is Lindsay Lohan's Mom Dina Joining 'Dancing With the Stars'?
The Lohan family cetainly knows how to keep a high profile. Hot on the heels of daughter Lindsay's release from house arrest, and ex-husband Michael's stint on 'Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew,' comes news that matriarch Dina Lohan may be taking to the small screen. She's been dropping hints about wanting to compete on 'Dancing With the Stars' for some time, and now it seems as though producers may finally have taken notice: According to 'The New York Post' former dancer Dina says she's "in talks" to appear on the show.
Back in December 'DWTS' producers were reportedly trying to convince Lindsay to sign on as a contestant, but Dina told RadarOnline that her daughter turned them down in favor of concentrating on her stalled movie career.
Dina Lohan Makes Rambling Comment on Lindsay, Confuses Even Herself (VIDEO)
Dina Lohan makes a somewhat rambling comment on daughter Lindsay's wishes on 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM ET on ABC) that seems to confuse even Dina herself."She just wants everyone to leave us alone, basically, and let her live her life and let her grow up," Dina said of Lindsay. "You know, she's 24 and that's not young. She's a young woman. But, I just think, to just breathe."
Michael Lohan Begs Ex-Wife to 'Put Differences Aside' for Lindsay's Sake (VIDEO)
As Lindsay Lohan nears the completion of her court-ordered treatment at the Betty Ford Clinic, father Michael begs ex-wife Dina to put her differences aside for the good of their troubled daughter on 'The Early Show' (weekdays, 7AM ET on CBS).Lindsay Lohan's Mom Wants on 'Dancing With the Stars,' Supercomputer to Face 'Jeopardy!' Champions and More
Lindsay Lohan won't be on 'Dancing With the Stars' next season, but we could see another Lohan instead. In an interview with RadarOnline, Lindsay's mom, Dina, said she was interested in appearing on the show even though her daughter turned it down, saying, "Lindsay actually told the woman at 'Dancing With the Stars' who made the offer that 'you need to take my mom!'"
No word on whether the producers listened to the suggestion, but since Dina's giving interviews about the conversation, we're betting they didn't.

Anderson Cooper reviews Living Lohan - VIDEO
This could be the first of a new series of features here at TV Squad, where instead of reviewing shows ourselves, the ones we wouldn't ordinarily review, we get celebrities to review them. So Tom Hanks and Kathy Griffin, get your video cameras ready! The clip after the jump is from Live with Regis & Kelly. Anderson Cooper is guest hosting this week, and during yesterday's show he took the opportunity to review Living Lohan, the E! reality show that stars everyone in the Lohan family not named Lindsay. This isn't some "oh, I don't bother with that show because it looks stupid" brush off, Cooper really goes after the people in the show, calling them "horrific" and saying that Ali Lohan "is 14 but looks 60...but I say that with concern and love."
Ali Lohan to ruin the career that never was
Ali Lohan of E!'s Living Lohan wants to destroy her nonexistent career by starring in the remake of the 1986 movie Troll (the original starred Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Sonny Bono). "How fitting that she already kinda looks like one? Yeah yeah, we're more evil than the creatures she'll fight in the flick, we know," Kate Spencer of VH1.com jokes. Apparently the director of Troll is already gushing about her acting abilities, "The camera loves her. She's a really good actress...I am personally going to fight for her." Ali has auditioned to play the role of Eunice St. Clair who aids a boy named Harry Potter, Jr. (no relation) fight an evil troll. I know, it just gets weirder and weirder. D-List jests that one of the Olsen twins should be cast as the evil troll.
I hope we get to see Ali's audition, rehearsals, shoots, and any other drama that could involve Long Island's resident troll, Dina Lohan, acting like a crazed stage mother.
Super Skank Wednesday: Dina, Denise, Byata, & Rece - VIDEOS
Welcome to Super Skank Wednesday. This is where I celebrate the awesomely skanky people on the following shows: Miss Rap Supreme, I Love Money, Charm School, New York Goes to Hollywood, and The Surreal Life. Basically, I'll discuss the skankalicious shows that make VH1 the network it is today. Notice how I've changed my introduction? I almost added Living Lohan and Denise Richards: It's Complicated but I realized that would compromise my integrity. I did, however, watch both of those shows Sunday night. I'll tell you about them and the finale of Miss Rap Supreme after the jump.
TV Squad: The Week Ahead

The half dozen things that TV Squad readers - and TV fans in general - will be talking about this week. A new feature every Monday.
1. The Lost season finale. Spoiler: they're all robots! (Thursday at 9 on ABC)
2. The Sex and the City movie. I don't see why this show needs a new movie (on the big screen anyway), but I'm sure there will be a bunch of people who go see it. Warning: movie theaters don't sell martinis so you'll have to wait until after the movie. (Starts this Friday)
3. Battlestar Galactica. Yup, some of the biggies still have new episodes (Friday at 10 on Sci-Fi).
4. The new reality shows from Denise Richards and Dina Lohan. I started to cry a little when I wrote that sentence. (Starts tonight on E!)
5. TV fans in a holding pattern. We're in that weird time of year, after most of the season finales have aired, and we're waiting for the new summer shows (Burn Notice, Mad Men, Californication, Law and Order: CI, etc) to start. Go outside and eat a salad, or whatever it is that healthy, TV-less people supposedly do.
6. Moment of Truth returns. This was the #1 new show last season. And it's all your fault. (Returns tomorrow at 8 on FOX)

- If you're hiding from the law, maybe don't appear on MTV's My Super Sweet 16. Just an idea.

Lindsay Lohan's mom wants her own reality show
The gossip columnists like to portray Lindsay Lohan's mom as being an opportunistic bitch, and she evidently isn't doing anything to dispel that notion. Now that her young daughter is in rehab for Oxycontin abuse, Dina Lohan is reportedly pushing hard for her own reality show on E!It's called Mom-ager, and it's supposed to be about Dina's efforts to propel her other two children, 14-year old Ali and 11-year old Cody, to stardom just like their older sister. Their older sister is doing a bang-up job with her stardom, by the way, since she is on the cover of People magazine this week with the headline, "What Happened to Lindsay Lohan".
Sounds like a responsible mom. Hopefully even E! doesn't stoop this low. It's okay to watch adults self-destruct because they have a choice in the matter, but giving this woman a camera crew to watch her destroy her children is really, really wrong.
