Blue gets a brother for the 10th season of Blue's Clues
Sometimes TV baffles me. Case in point: after nine seasons of apparently being an only child, Blue, the adorable puppy on Blue's Clues and Blue's Room, will suddenly get a new baby brother to begin the 10th season. Now won't this put parents in a quandary when their tiny ones ask why they can't have a little brother just like (snap!) that. I mean, he just appears out of thin air. Why can't Mommy and Daddy produce a brother out of thin air?
Parents will have some time to prepare their arguments as Blue's New Baby Brother, a new hour-long movie, won't appear until August 6 and 7 on Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and the commercial-free channel NOGGIN. In addition to introducing Blue's new brother the movie will combine Joe (Donovan Patton) and the animated cast of Blue's Clues with the puppets of Blue's Room (which features a talking Blue) into one cohesive universe.
The celebration begins on July 4th with a marathon of classic Blue's Clues episodes on NOGGIN. Featured will be three episodes where original Blue's Clues host Steve (Steve Burns) introduces the audience to his brother Joe and "Blue's Big Musical" featuring voice work from the late Ray Charles.
