We understand; we've all been there. But it seems that some prominent daytime hosts -- and one very funny late night guest -- are determined to make sure their viewers are sticking to those resolutions, or just whatever exercise program they've set up for themselves.
Let's start with Ellen DeGeneres. Today on her nationally-syndicated talk show, she's conducting the entire show from a recumbent bike, and guests Ryan Gossling and Camille Grammer joined her.

Felicity tries to perform a card trick, but then ... she seems to have a little trouble pulling it off.

But one thing that has happened as a result -- Hugh Laurie is forced to get naked! That's what we all wanted to see, right? On 'Ellen' (weekdays, syndicated), Laurie met with host DeGeneres to discuss the whole "nudity" thing. First, Ellen wanted to know if Hugh danced -- then asked if he dances around naked, which is not a question that we'd ever ask . But hey, she's the talk show host, not us. Laurie admitted to occasionally dancing nude, which brought an unexpected cheer from the crowd. Hurray!

Tons of Variety on 'Ellen's Somewhat Special Special' (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Jun 28th 2010 3:40AM
Variety shows -- programs combining a wide assortment of different entertainers -- aren't as popular as they once were, especially back in the heyday of vaudeville routines. But if anyone can bring the variety show back, it would be Ellen DeGeneres. After all, Ellen is pretty much a jack of all trades herself -- comedian, actress, talk show show host, 'American Idol' musical judge. So if anyone could handle throwing together a bunch of unique performers under one roof, it would be Ellen.
'Ellen's Somewhat Special Special' (Sun., 9PM ET on TBS) harkens back to the grand old days of entertainment, featuring acts ranging from singers to magicians to acrobats. One man can hurl himself around a metal pole for a seemingly unlimited amount of time. Another group uses giant trampolines to endlessly ping-pong themselves across the stage. And speaking of "ping-pong," the show also features this 'Matrix'-inspired team. It's pretty impressive stuff. You should check it out.

Jackson. You haven't truly lived until you've heard Jackson cursing and talking about bullfrogs. "That's a big [censored] frog," he says. "Look at that [censored] frog." It's fantastic.
