'Bones' Cast To Earn Big Pay Rise For Potential Eighth Season
Forget digging for 'Bones,' (Thurs., 9PM ET) the cast of the long-running Fox procedural has just hit buried treasure.According to The Hollywood Reporter, supporting cast-members Michaela Conlin, T.J. Thyne, Tamara Taylor and John Francis Daley have secured new deals that will see their salaries raised to the mid-five figures per episode, in exchange for an extra season on their contracts. The negotiations were particularly pressing for Conlin and Thyne, whose contracts were set to run out at the end of this season.
Now, if the show is picked up for an eighth season -- which seems likely, given this news -- fans can rest assured that all of the regular cast will return.
Emily Deschanel Before She Was Famous
Before she was forensic anthropologist 'Bones,' Emily Deschanel, 'New Girl' Zooey Deschanel's older, less hipster sister, was a high school senior at Crossroads School in Los Angeles. After her feature-film debut in 1994's rom-com 'It Could Happen To You,' Deschanel had a few more notable roles, like Stephen Kin's 'Rose Red' in 2002 and 'Boogeyman' in 2005, before landing the role of Temperance Brennan on Fox's 'Bones.'
The hit show returns for Season 7 on Thurs., Nov. 3 at 9PM ET on Fox, and expect a few big changes for our favorite duo. Bones is pregnant (Deschanel was at the time too!) and feeling the early kicks of her baby, and Booth is having a hard time adjusting to the life of an expectant dad.
Check out Deschanel's high school picture after the jump. Is it just us or did she look more like her little sister when she was younger?

Zooey Deschanel Discusses 'New Girl' & Squashes TV Rivalry With Her Sister (VIDEO)
Fox's 'New Girl' is the highest-rated new comedy of the Fall TV season. For the "adorkable" Zooey Deschanel, the transition from movies to TV has been seamless. In an interview with 'Good Day LA (weekdays, 9AM PT on Fox), she explained why."I think of it as a little movie. It's more like every week we're making a little movie," she said. "Our comedy is all about building on the characters and it's not about jokes, it's about characters being thrown into situations."

Booth and Bones Share a Long Goodbye -- For Now (VIDEO)
On the season finale and 100th episode of 'Bones' (Thu., 8PM ET on FOX), the chemistry between Bones and Booth was in full force. Booth snuck away from the base to say goodbye to Bones at the airport, before the two went their separate ways for a year. [Spoiler alert.]
"You got to be really careful in that Indonesian jungle, OK?" said Booth, staring longingly into her eyes.

A Surprising Moment on 'Bones' (VIDEO)
Being thrown in jail is clearly not the most positive experience. But it does have one potential upside. If you get tossed in the slammer with your ex-lover, that might be a way to spend some good "quality time" with them. Which is what happens on 'Bones' (Thu., 8PM ET on Fox).[Spoiler alert.]
'Bones' - 'The Rocker in the Rinse Cycle' Recap

(S05E19) "It's not music. It's rock and roll, baby." - Booth to Brennan
This week's 'Bones' may have had a rock 'n' roll theme since it's "Fox Rocks Week," but the real topic on almost every character's mind was ... sex! Then again, there is a saying that pairs sex and rock 'n' roll together, so it was probably fitting to have both go hand in hand in 'The Rocker in the Rinse Cycle.'
In this episode, Booth and Brennan rocked the place while investigating (see picture above for proof), Cam found a gynecologist for Michelle, while Arastoo compared everything and anything to baseball!
'Bones' - 'The Predator in the Pool' Recap
We too are glad that Booth is out there to save the day and especially that he is played by cutie David Boreanaz, no? However, I'm not sure 'Bones' fans were as glad to see Catherine Bryan, played by Rena Sofer, out there with Booth as it puts yet another obstacle between Booth and Brennan's potential coupling.

And there, the two of then share a romantic dance.Watch the video after the jump.
'Bones' - The Death of the Queen Bee' Recap

(S05E17) Okay, boys and girls, here's the deal...
For some reason unbeknownst to me, my Stupid DVR (name brand) did not record this week's installment of 'Bones.' This, despite the fact that I set it up as a series recording. Of course, I can blame it on the kids, but that wouldn't be fair to them (I need to save that blame for when I do something stupid).
Until I can catch the episode on the Interwebs, I'm going to leave this post open for you, the wonderful and caring readers of TV Squad, to comment on the show. Let us know how you felt about this post-'I love you, but we're just friends' episode of the series, and if you think their new relationship will actually work until they eventually fall passionately into each others' arms sometime around season 33.
You can also let me know if the same mystery DVR loss has ever happened to you. That'll make me feel a little bit better.
(Update: You can now see the review after the jump)

The latest episode of the crime drama delves into the romantic back-story between Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and her partner, Seely Booth (David Boreanaz). The pair have had a "will they or won't they" type of romance going on for some time now, and at last, we get a little background on their relationship.Watch the video after the jump.
'Bones' - 'The Parts in the Sum of the Whole' Recap

(S05E16) "What you call a mistake, Sweets calls an interpretation." - Booth to Brennan
Thanks to the mistake Sweets made in his book, we were treated to a flashback with backstory for our favorite squints and co., including Zack, as well as finally getting to see Booth and Brennan's first case. Of course, these reveals were all overshadowed by the real question of the week: Do Booth and Brennan really truly love each other?
