The newest Lost audio podcast is available on ABC's website, and Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse are finally back as hosts. The executive producers discussed past episodes "Par Avion" and "Enter 77," and teased upcoming episodes "The Man From Tallahassee" and "Exposé." Cast member Emilie de Ravin also discussed her work on the "Par Avion" episode. Here are the highlights:
-
Emilie de Ravin felt that "Par Avion" was the most emotionally difficult of all her past Lost performances. She is also sure that Jack and Claire will eventually discover that they are half-siblings.
Lost Easter egg hunt: Enter 77
Lost's "Enter 77" episode gave us a closer look at another DHARMA station, The Flame. In the last few days, viewers have been busy finding clues about both the station and its mysterious inhabitants. The following Easter eggs have been found in last week's episode:
Lost death pool update: Week five
Another one bites the dust! After all of the death teases in the last few episodes, I thought we might have to wait until the final episodes of the season for another death. Fortunately, this was not the case. In "Enter 77," a familiar character from Season Two returned, only to be killed in a dramatic standoff. I will not name names until after the jump, but some fans found the death to be too convenient.
I can think of at least one fan for whom this death was a blessing, however. Only one death pool participant picked this character, which makes the pick worth twice the points. All told, the death is worth 34 points: 5 points for a correct pick, 12 episode points, and double points for a unique pick. Check out the standings and death specifics below. If you have not seen "Enter 77" yet and want to remain unspoiled, stop reading.

Lost: Enter 77

(S03E11) Now that was an episode! Writers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse deserve serious kudos for achieving such a perfect balance of plot and character development. "Enter 77" combined action and humor, and utilized a majority of the cast instead of focusing on a core group of characters. We learned the identity of Eye Patch Guy, and he just might be my new favorite character.
Lost audio podcast recap: March 5, 2007
ABC's newest Lost audio podcast is full of entertaining and useful behind-the-scenes information. Cast members Josh Holloway, Daniel Dae Kim, and Jorge Garcia discuss their experiences filming the "Tricia Tanaka is Dead" episode. A short interview with Paul Terry, editor of Lost: The Official Magazine, is also featured. Finally, the podcast includes a brief clip of the upcoming episode titled "Enter 77."
- In the cast interview, Jorge Garcia mentions that the dog trainers had trouble getting Madison (Vincent the Dog) to hold the corpse's arm in her mouth the same way on each take. The arm was even sent home with Madison so she could get comfortable carrying it around.
