Jeremy Piven On 'Entourage' Movie: 'That's the Rumor Right Now' (VIDEO)

by Stephanie Opella, posted Dec 9th 2011 7:00PM
Despite the somewhat underwhelming 'Entourage,' finale, fans of the show (and the cast themselves) have been clamoring for a post-script movie. So when Jeremy Piven stopped by 'The Talk' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS) to promote his new film 'I Melt You,' the ladies had to ask about the 'Entourage' project.

Piven was optimistic but vague about the potential film. "We're teed up for a movie in a way that, you know, Ari has this conundrum that he's facing," Piven said, "which is either to rule the world or to honor his love to his wife." Just to clarify, Sheryl Underwood asked, "So the movie's going to happen?" and Piven, without giving a solid confirmation, responded in the affirmative. "That's the rumor right now."

The Biggest TV Turkeys of 2011

by AOL TV Staff, posted Nov 22nd 2011 12:00PM
TV Turkeys: Playboy Club, Entourage, Cougar TownThere are plenty of shows to be thankful for, but 2011 was also the year for some major TV turkeys.

You know what we're talking about -- those shows or televised events that are just too horrific for even our "worst" lists of the year.

We've picked our top turkeys, included proof of poultry, and ranked them on a gobble-meter scale of 1-10, 1 being the least offensive or surprising in terms of suckiness, and 10 being scream-at-your-TV-in-anger levels of suck that we hope we never have to endure again.

Take a look at our list, then chime in down in the comments with your own top picks for the bottom of the barrel.

Emmys Opening Musical Number: Did Jane Lynch or Jimmy Fallon Do It Better? (VIDEO)

by Jean Bentley, posted Sep 18th 2011 9:05PM
Jane Lynch Emmys openerJane Lynch kicked off the 2011 Emmy Awards with a musical number filled with celebrity cameos (Leonard Nimoy!), which, coincidentally, is how Jimmy Fallon kicked off the 2010 ceremony.

So, how did the two compare?

Well, Fallon went big with a 'Glee' tribute and Bruce Springsteen cover, while Lynch took the solo route with an original number about the magic of television and how everyone on TV lives in the same building.

Both recruited a ton of celebs to help out, but Fallon had the stars sing along with him while Lynch dropped into different show sets. Both included a requisite 'Dancing With the Stars' dig, though.

Who nabbed the bigger stars?

Jerry Ferrara talks about the 'Entourage' season finale on 'Today''Entourage' is finally over, at least on television, after it wrapped up with its series finale Sunday night. Monday morning, Jerry Ferrara, who played Turtle, spoke with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC) about the show's history and his own character's growth.

"It was more about just the journey for the whole eight years, looking back at where we all started," Ferrara said of the finale. "You know, my character, trying to get a girl to make out with him, and he'll show her where Vince eats breakfast in the morning. You know, selling a company and actually becoming a millionaire at the very end."

'Entourage' Series Finale Recap: Everybody Wins, Except the Audience

by Alex Moaba, posted Sep 12th 2011 1:40PM
For eight seasons, 'Entourage' has been a fun, breezy buddy comedy about a group of childhood friends living the good life in Hollywood. It's been a good time to watch, despite the fact that everything always works out for the guys in the end, which often led the show to hastily resolve season-long conflicts and gloss over tension between the characters.

But last night's series finale was dripping with more gloss than usual. In fact, it was all gloss. In one of the most baffling, problematic half-hours of TV I've ever seen, everything worked out for everyone -- except the audience. We were left feeling cheated over rushed catharsis, a love story that the show didn't bother to show us and characters that reconciled without ever earning it.

The whole thing revolved around an allegedly torrid love affair between Vince and Sophia, the Vanity Fair reporter who'd interviewed him several weeks before and adamantly refused his advances on the grounds that she's a serious journalist who doesn't date her subjects.

But, as we know by now, Vinny Chase's charm knows no bounds, and they fell madly in love with each other and decided to get married in Paris after hanging out for just 24 hours. All of which would have been fine, if 'Entourage' hadn't asked its audience to just take the show's word for it.

'Entourage' Series Finale: (Almost) All Roads Lead to Paris (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 12th 2011 6:05AM
'Entourage' series finaleLast week, Vince helped out his buddies Turtle and Johnny Drama. That left only this week's series finale of 'Entourage' (Sun., 10:30PM ET on HBO) to help Eric and Ari. Could he throw money at their women problems and make them better? And what about his own lady situation?

!!SPOILER ALERT!!

Well, somehow, Vince convinced the reluctant Sophie to marry him. We're talking drop everything and marry him immediately, after a 24-hour date. What was the time gap between last week's episode and this week? It didn't seem to be much, so how on earth did he do that?

She fought tooth and nail against even going on a date with him and now she was ready to marry him just like that? Okay, it was a big ring, but come on?

'Entourage' - 'Second to Last'With the series run of 'Entourage' (Sun., 10:30PM ET on HBO) drawing to a close next week, it's time to drop some surprising bombshells on the cast. The show delivered in this department with two rather huge surprises in store for them and us.

First up, who would have thought that Turtle would become a self-made millionaire? Sure, a little last minute investment from Vince helped make it happen, but kudos to him for sticking to his entrepreneurial passions until they finally paid off.

'Entourage' Exclusive Preview Clip: Vince Runs Into a Pregnant Former Flame (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Aug 29th 2011 4:00PM
'Entourage' is in its home stretch, with the series' penultimate episode set to air this Sunday (10:30PM ET on HBO). Fun fact: The episode, titled 'Former Partners,' is the second to be directed by co-star Kevin Connolly.

As they wrap things up, there are several season and series-long storylines coming to a head. Vince is still reeling from his Vanity Fair interview with Sophia, seeking out girls he's slept with to reassure himself he isn't the vapid womanizer the piece makes him out to be. Drama and Andrew Dice Clay just outlasted CBS in stand-off over 'Johnny's Bananas,' and with that project taken care of, the gang turns its focus to Vince's miner TV movie. Ari seems resigned to the fact that his divorce with Mrs. Ari (Melissa!) may become a reality, and that it could cost him the majority stake in his agency.

In our exclusive preview clip from this week's episode, the boys run into one of Vince's former flames who's now pregnant (we're assuming he's not the dad, but who knows). She and Vince have a heartfelt conversation, which immediate turns 'Entourage'-y as Drama points out that he slept with her sister, Turtle makes a herpes joke and Drama says, "at least I'm getting laid enough to be a suspect." Typical.

Check it out after the jump.

Johnny Galecki Hints to Eric He May Be Seeing Sloan on 'Entourage' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 29th 2011 7:01AM
Johnny Galecki, 'Entourage'It was relationship trouble all over 'Entourage' (Sun., 10:30PM ET on HBO) this week. With only two episodes left to go, will Mr. and Mrs. Ari manage to reconcile their relationship? Will Ari have to start calling her Melissa? Do we?

But that wasn't the only unexpected moment in the episode, as we also saw a seedier side to 'The Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki. He certainly seemed to be enjoying alluding to Eric that he's in some kind of relationship with Sloan.

It was enough to get Eric to freak out and threaten Scott that he has to drop Galecki as a client or they're done working together. See, this is how business gets done in Hollywood, according to 'Entourage.' Who manages you and who you work with is directly related to who you sleep with. And Hollywood is basically like a small town. Everybody knows everybody's business.

Vince Tries to Flirt His Way Through a Vanity Fair Interview on 'Entourage' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 22nd 2011 6:57AM
Alice Eve, 'Entourage'Vince just can't seem to keep himself in check on 'Entourage' (Sun., 10:30PM ET on HBO). Granted, the reporter from Vanity Fair was gorgeous, but he's trying to rebuild his image after that whole rehab situation. He didn't need to start trying to seduce her right away.

He did convince her to give him a second chance, and gave a fair and candid interview as promised. Or he may have just been trying to give her what he thought she'd want to hear. Then he tried to get in her pants. At least, you could say, he is consistent.

Plus, the rejections seem to have invigorated him, as he declared that he thinks he loves her. We think this won't be the last we see of Alice Eve, as Vince isn't done trying to charm his way into bed with her.

Johnny Galecki Discusses 'Roseanne,' 'Big Bang' and 'Entourage' on 'Good Day LA' (VIDEO)

by Nick Zaino, posted Aug 18th 2011 2:25PM
Johnny Galecki talks about 'Roseanne,' 'Big Bang Theory,' and 'Entourage' on 'Good Day LA'Johnny Galecki has fond memories of 'Roseanne,' that predate his role on the show. He reminisced on 'Good Day LA' (weekdays, 9AM PT on Fox) about watching the first episode with his family, and also talked about what he's been doing in the offseason before filming begins again for 'The Big Bang Theory.'

Galecki said his 'Roseanne' role started as a one-episode deal when he was 16, but stretched to three episodes and then three years when Roseanne Barr asked him to join the cast permanently. He still keeps in touch with Sara Gilbert, and would love to have her back on 'Big Bang' if she could find the time. "She was on 'Big Bang,' I think she did maybe a half a dozen episodes in the last couple of seasons," he said, "and we'd love to have her back but she's busy with 'The Talk' right now."

Bobby Flay Almost Takes Ari Outside to Fight on 'Entourage' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 15th 2011 7:26AM
Bobby Flay, 'Entourage'Ari Gold doesn't specialize in calmly enjoying what he's got. An essential part of his character is that he's always striving to close another deal, make more money or exact revenge against someone who's wronged him. On the latest 'Entourage' (Sun., 10PM ET on HBO), he hooked up with the beautiful Constance Zimmer, playing his old flame and rival Dana Gordon, but wasn't satisfied with that, and felt compelled to rub it in his wife and her new man Bobby Flay's faces.

Ari took Gordon to Bobby Flay's restaurant in the hopes that Flay would see him with his new lady, and maybe go home and tell Ari's ex-wife about it, hoping it would make her jealous.

Flay knew exactly what was going on, and Dana was no fool either. We'd say that we would hope Ari could find some genuine joy and happiness in his life by the close of the series run, but at the same time it seems appropriate to have him yelling and losing his mind over something ridiculous in the last moments we see him.

Bobby Flay Talks About His 'Entourage' Affair, Cooks Peach Relish on 'Today' (VIDEO)

by Nick Zaino, posted Aug 11th 2011 2:45PM
Bobby Flay talks about his 'Entourage' role on 'Today'Bobby Flay showed some versatility on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC), discussing his acting role on 'Entourage' while he was cooking up a nice peach relish with Matt Lauer. Flay seemed a little nervous while describing the 'Entourage' appearance, in which he plays "Bobby Flay," a celebrity chef dating Ari Gold's wife while the couple is separated.

"I'm playing a fictional version of Bobby Flay," he said, "because in the show, there's a restaurant called Flay's In L.A., which doesn't exist. And I'm also single on the show, but ..." "Having an affair with Ari's wife," interjected Lauer. Flay was quick to point out that he is married in real life, and that the role was "kind of weird." It caused no trouble at home, though. "It's going fine, actually," he said, "because the actress who plays Mrs. Ari, Perrey Reeves, and my wife are very good friends."

'Entourage': Turtle Makes a Deal With Mark Cuban (VIDEO)

by Catherine Lawson, posted Aug 8th 2011 8:50AM
'Entourage' S08/E03It was the end of the road for Turtle's big tequila adventure on 'Entourage' (Sun., 10PM ET on HBO).

Having been fired by Carlos (who also told him that girlfriend Alex was no longer interested), Turtle decided to take his money out of Avion tequila and use the money to open up an LA outpost of Don Peppe restaurant.

So he called up -- who else? -- Mark Cuban to tell him the news. Cuban joked that "It would really hurt to lose you Turtle. You've been a tremendous asset to this company," before getting serious and hinting that by selling out now Turtle could lose a lot of money.

"I like you," Cuban said. "I'd hate for you to miss out if I take this thing public."
