'Bones' - 'The Parts in the Sum of the Whole' Recap

(S05E16) "What you call a mistake, Sweets calls an interpretation." - Booth to Brennan
Thanks to the mistake Sweets made in his book, we were treated to a flashback with backstory for our favorite squints and co., including Zack, as well as finally getting to see Booth and Brennan's first case. Of course, these reveals were all overshadowed by the real question of the week: Do Booth and Brennan really truly love each other?
'Bones'' 100th Episode - Press Kits Unwrapped

FOX's top crime drama, 'Bones,' has grown a lot over the years, gathering more and more fans along the way as well as treating us with great episodes and compelling characters each week. Now that I've watched episodes 99 and 100 of the series -- both will air in early April -- I can't imagine why I actually didn't enjoy the pilot at all when I previewed it the summer before the series aired. I'm extremely happy in retrospect that I gave the pilot a second chance and tuned in when the series premiered back on September 13, 2005, as it is one of my favorite TV series nowadays.
In order to advertise the milestone episodes that are episodes 99 and 100, FOX sent out a press kit to media types like us. Let's open the box (see picture above) shall we?
TV Casting: Joe Torre Visits 'Castle'; Eric Millegan Returns to 'Bones'
LA Dodgers manager Joe Torre will swing on over to the set of 'Castle' for an upcoming cameo appearance, airing Feb. 8. The episode will feature the murder of a famous baseball player, along with a star-struck Beckett, who flips out when she sees Torre in person. Let's hope she doesn't try to get to first base. [Ausiello Files]More casting news after the jump.
Bones: The Wannabe in the Weeds - VIDEO

(S03E14) "I am deceptively strong." Dr. Zach Addy
"I'm... deceived." Dr. Cameron Saroyan
This was a very lighthearted and playful episode, particularly after the gravitas of last week's trial. Not only was it a great send-up of FOX's sister show, American Idol, making light fun of the show and its contestants, but there was also a lot of joking around and funny moments, reminiscent of the best of Bones' first two seasons with the Squint Squad. It was nice to see them back in full force this episode. Simultaneously, there were plenty of clues from the beginning of the episode about what was going to happen. But I'll talk about that in a minute. Can we talk about Eric Millegan first? Did you know that he actually is a cabaret singer, and he has an act in LA, as well as a Broadway history pre-dating the show?
Bones: Player Under Pressure
(S03E12) Brennan: "I don't know what that means."Angela: "Are you serious?"
- When Cam reveals that both seminal fluid and saliva were found in the basketball player's shorts...
Rich Keller asked me to cover Bones tonight. Rich and I have also co-reviewed House. I am a bit late to the Bones parade: I started watching it this winter during the writers' strike. I bought the first two seasons on iTunes, and I was completely hooked. It's now one of my favorite shows. Now that the show comes on at 7pm Central Time, I was happy to have TiVoed the show tonight and that my kids were in bed when I watched it. It was one of the grosser episodes-- or maybe it just seemed that way because of the earlier time slot.

What to expect in season three of Bones
Last year's finale of FOX's Bones left us hanging. Is Zack really going to war and will he come back? Will Jack and Angela ever get married? Will Max Keenan really go to and stay in jail? Will we learn more about Brennan's family (more precisely on her mother's side of the family)? Will both standing at the altar together help or hurt the relation between Brennan and Booth?Want to know some of the answers to these questions and a bit more about Bones' third season? We have the goods after the jump! Spoilers warning!
Bones: Spaceman In A Crater

(S02E19) Rich is off this week, paying the mouse tax that comes with having little ones. By all reports they are having a great time. He'll return next week for your regularly scheduled Bones review. But the show must go on, so let's talk about "Spaceman in a Crater."
Bones: The Blonde in the Game
(S02E04) Wow, can you believe we're already up to the fourth episode of the season? So far, every episode has been a good one. Now, let's not waste any time in getting to this week's review.
This was a very solid episode. At first, I wasn't fond of the whole 'serial killer murders while in jail' scenario, because its been played out in movies and television a few thousand times (and, why does the serial killer always think they're in the driver's seat when he (or she) is in jail on the way to an early dirt nap?). But, as Bones and Booth got down to tracking the killer I was really into the story. The best part was that I had no idea whatsoever on who the actual killer really was. This is refreshing, because in the previous episode of Bones I knew who the killer was in the first 20 minutes.
