Cool Toy of the Day: the Bruce Campbell doll!
by Bob Sassone, posted Aug 8th 2009 10:02AM
This is pretty neat because it's not one of the characters he plays, it's a doll of Campbell himself. Yeah, it's officially from My Name is Bruce, but he played himself in that movie. I guess with that shirt it could pass for Burn Notice's Sam, though I've always thought he's playing a version of himself there, too. It comes with accessories and a cool box, too.

Sam Raimi gets into reality with Fear is Real
by Danny Gallagher, posted Dec 3rd 2008 7:42PM
Director Sam Raimi, the man who created such gut-wrenching horrors as The Evil Dead trilogy and Spider Man 3, takes his talent for disemboweling innocent people and chopping off limbs with a dull ax to television ... for a reality show?!?13 - Fear is Real premieres
The reality show aims to do for horror movies what Next Action Star did for action movies - rip them off and turn them into another schlock reality show that requires little to no creative ideas or thought.
Sam Raimi teams with CW for reality
by Allison Waldman, posted Mar 15th 2008 11:01AM
Spider-Man's director is going real. Reality TV that is. After nearly two years of talking with the CW about this project, Sam Raimi is prepping a summer reality series called 13. Considering Raimi's unique vision, as seen in the Spider-Man movies and other features like Darkman and Evil Dead, you have to hope that he'll bring something fresh to a genre as played out as reality.Raimi with co-executive produce the eight-episodes of 13 with a renown reality producer, Jay Bienstock (Survivor and The Apprentice). Also attached is Robert Tapert, Sam's Ghost House Productions partner.
Supernatural: Everybody Loves A Clown
by Brett Love, posted Oct 6th 2006 6:55AM
(S02E02) I was really looking forward to this episode after the dramatic end to the premiere. How would they deal with the death of John? To me, this was almost two separate episodes. On the one hand we had the mystery/adventure story, and on the other we have Dean and Sam starting to work through the loss of their dad. And both of these arcs played out very well. First, the clowns. I started to get whigged out when I saw the title of this episode. I read "It" at far too young an age, so clowns have always bugged me. There's just something not right with a clown. And there is really something not right with the clown in this episode. Very creepy. This was probably the scariest episode of the series since "Bloody Mary."
