Sarah Paulson, Peter MacNicol, Justin Gaston Join HBO's 'Game Change' and More TV News

Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin in 'Game Change'HBO has added three more actors to its movie chronicling the John McCain/Sarah Palin presidential run, 'Game Change.'

According to Deadline, Sarah Paulson will play McCain's "attractive" senior campaign adviser Nicolle Wallace, Peter MacNicol will play McCain's campaign manager Rick Davis, and Justin Gaston (a.k.a. Miley Cyrus' ex) will play Bristol Palin's babydaddy, Levi Johnston.

The first images of Julianne Moore as Palin surfaced this morning.

In other TV news ...

Nicollette Sheridan has at least one 'Desperate Housewives' producer on her side during her legal battle with show creator Marc Cherry. A big point in Cherry's defense against Sheridan's unlawful termination claim is that he decided in June 2008 that her character would get killed off, but staff writer Kirkland Baker said she didn't know Edie would be killed off until at least September. Ving Rhames will has booked the lead in the Comedy Central pilot 'Black Jack.' The actor will play a recently de-commissioned special ops agent. [Deadline]

'Aqua Teen Hunger Force' is changing its name. The adult swim show will now be known as 'Aqua Unit Patrol Squad.' The show's 100th episode will air this Sunday night at midnight. [adult swim]

Julianne Moore, Sarah PalinTina Fey, watch your back! The first look at Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin in HBO's upcoming film 'Game Change' has hit the Internet, and she looks astonishingly like the former Alaska governor.

Moore and Ed Harris will star in the HBO pic based on the book of the same name. Written by Danny Strong -- yep, Jonathan from 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and writer of HBO's 'Recount' -- the film starts production on Wednesday. Jay Roach of 'Austin Powers' fame and the director of 'Recount' will helm the film.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Melissa Farman will play Bristol Palin. Viewers may remember Farman from HBO's 'Temple Grandin.'

Marisa Tomei, Alison Pill, Olivia MunnMarisa Tomei, Olivia Munn and Alison Pill are in talks to star in Aaron Sorkin's HBO pilot, currently titled 'More As the Story Develops,' which follows a cable news anchor played by Jeff Daniels.

According to Deadline, Tomei is close to signing on as MacKenzie, the executive producer of the news program.

Pill is in talks to play Maggie, an associate producer on the assignment desk, and Munn could play a financial analyst on the cable network.

In other TV news ...

Elisabeth Harnois will be a series regular on 'CSI' next season. The 'Miami Medical' actress booked a guest role in the May 5 episode, but producers continued to expand her role. Harnois plays the estranged daughter of Conrad Ecklie (Marc Vann). [Deadline]

Keith Olbermann will make his Current TV debut on Monday, June 20, at 8PM. The show will still be called 'Countdown With Keith Olbermann.' [Keith Olbermann]

Julianne Moore will be playing Sarah Palin in 'Game Change,' an upcoming HBO movie about the 2008 election.

Palin stopped by 'Hannity' (weekdays, 9PM ET on Fox News) where she was asked what she thought of Moore portraying her.

"Well, I'm all about job creation, and I guess I could provide some of the gals who pretend like they're me some job security," Palin said. "I would ask, though, if they're of the mind of spreading the wealth around that perhaps they could spring for one of my kids' sets of braces or something, as they capitalize on pretending to be me."

Julianne MooreJulianne Moore will have to master another very distinct accent for her next TV role: The Oscar-nominated actress has been cast as none other than Sarah Palin in HBO's movie about the 2008 presidential election, 'Game Change.'

Based on the book of the same name, the movie will chronicle John McCain's failed 2008 White House bid. Moore is set to star as former-Alaska-governor-turned-McCain-running-mate Palin, Entertainment Weekly reports.
