When I found out they had just completed the cover artwork for a new DVD set containing the complete Garbage Pail Kids series, I had the same reaction I'm guessing a lot of people had: when the hell did they ever make an animated series based on the Garbage Pail Kids? I have no memory of that at all, which is a bit odd since I collected the cards. Hell, I even rented the movie once and for some inexplicable reason watched it three times. As it turns out, no one saw these thirteen cartoons because they were produced in 1989 but never aired. The DVD set comes out in early April.
