Best War Series and Miniseries: TV's Greatest Depictions of Battlefield Drama
by Leonard Jacobs, posted Nov 11th 2009 11:00AM
Much as we may detest war, it remains a part of American life. And TV, from its earliest days, has been right on top of dramatizing it, satirizing it, explaining it, railing about it, even celebrating it -- or at least celebrating the brave men and women who proudly wear the uniform. 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' (Sun., 9PM, USA) 7th season finale
When Goren finds a picture at his mother's gravesite, he immediately knows that she's baaaack.
She, of course, is his psycho nemesis Nicole Wallace (Olivia D'Abo), the serial murderess who's popped up again and again throughout the series, always leaving a few dead bodies behind her.
Her latest reappearance isn't going to be any more pleasant, as she continues her M.O. of trying to get at Goren by using his past against him. But this time, she takes getting personal to a whole new level, meaning his current partner, Eames, should be sleeping with one eye open.

I attended the TCA Cable Press Tour at the Beverly Hilton yesterday where I learned about the following shows: Whale Wars on Animal Planet
Secrets of the Dinosaur Mummy on Discovery
Ashley Paige: Bikini or Bust on TLC
Ricky Gervais Comedy Special on HBO
Little Britain, USA on HBO
Generation Kill on HBO
And there's more. Believe me, there's more.
Okay, you've got whale pirates, mummies, bikinis, Ricky Gervais, vampires, and Marines. Unfortunately, none of those shows combine all six of those things / people. After the jump, find out about these new shows and the people who make them...
