Why Is 'Glee's' Kevin McHale Performing Live Shows In Artie's Wheelchair?
by Gabrielle Dunn, posted Apr 5th 2010 7:00PM
It's not just 'Proud Mary' that's gonna keep on rollin'.Videos from the 'Glee' cast's performance at the White House annual Easter Egg Roll surfaced on Youtube today and amid praises for their always flawless vocals was one burning question: Why did they make Kevin McHale, who plays wheelchair-bound cutie Artie, perform in the chair?
McHale, who, unlike his character, is not paralyzed, stood up during the 'Glee' mall tour last fall but Sunday, he performed the show's iconic cover of Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing' and Queen's 'Somebody To Love' sitting in Artie's wheelchair.
'Glee' Returns on April 13 (at 9:28, To Be Exact)
by Bob Sassone, posted Mar 26th 2010 12:31PM
OK 'Glee' fans, get ready. If you've been waiting for the show to come back, a date has been set. The spring premiere of the FOX show will be on April 13, right after 'American Idol.' But that doesn't mean that the show will air at 9:30. The first episode back will actually start at 9:28!If it's following 'American Idol' though I don't see how it's going to start at 9:28. The live episodes of 'Idol' are often a scramble at the end, aren't they? Maybe stuff like this gets people more interested in tuning in a little early just in case. The episode, which will feature Beatles' "Hello, Goodbye," runs until 10:30, which means that FOX will be cutting into local station time a bit.
It's funny that fans of 'Glee' are called "Gleeks." We still need a name for fans of TV Squad.
'Glee' Cast to Appear on 'Oprah'
by Allison Waldman, posted Mar 19th 2010 11:09AM

The first week in April will be tumultuous for the folks from 'Glee.' Sunday, April 4, is Easter, then on Monday, April 5, the gang will be at the White House for the annual Easter Egg festivities. Then on Wednesday, April 7, 'Glee' goes to 'The Oprah Winfrey Show'! They should sing 'My Kind of Town' as a tribute to Chicago when they get off the plane, don't you think?
