Miss Piggy, 'WWE Monday Night RAW'It was a special Halloween edition of 'WWE Monday Night Raw' (Mon., 9PM ET on USA), which featured several of the wrestling superstars in costume. But at almost every turn, they were upstaged by the week's special guests.

In anticipation of their return to the silver screen, the Muppets were all over this broadcast. Kermit was getting some love from one of the female wrestlers, while Miss Piggy was getting rebuffed. Animal got to serve as the timekeeper, while Beeker actually impacted the outcome of a match.

'Today' Halloween Costumes Take Us Back to the Royal Wedding (VIDEO)

by Chris Harnick, posted Oct 31st 2011 10:10AM
Today Halloween Costumes'Today' (weekdays, 7AM ET on NBC) took the Royal Wedding, the biggest crossover news story of the year, and turned it into one very spectacular group Halloween costume.

For a few minutes, it looked like the show had started to play the wrong video. Call it one sweet trick, followed by a very royal treat as Matt Lauer appeared as Prince William, decked out in full British military dress. Ann Curry slipped into a version of Kate Middleton's stunning gown, Al Roker donned his best wig and dressed as Prince Harry, Natalie Morales channeled her best Pippa, and Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb put on their party hats and dressed as Beatrice and Eugenie, the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

Roberta Can't Make Her 'Twilight' Fantasy Come True on 'Cleveland Show' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 31st 2011 5:30AM
'The Cleveland Show' - 'A Nightmare on Grace Street'While Cleveland and Rallo were learning to face their fears, and Cleveland Jr. and Donna were facing many people's worst nightmare, Roberta had to face simple reality on 'The Cleveland Show' (Sun., 9PM ET on FOX). People who look and talk like Edward Cullen and Jacob Black aren't just mysterious and brooding. They're also not vampires or werewolves. In fact, they're probably just gay.

At least, that's the reality according to this show. Also, girls all across the world got a good tip on how not to find the right man. Throwing yourself off a cliff may attract the handsome man with a supernatural secret in the movies, but in real life you'll probably just find yourself flattened on a rock.

Nick Lachey & Kelly Ripa flash mob for HalloweenRegis and Kelly always do it up big for Halloween. This year, 'Live!' is kicking off their annual Halloween Headliner's Ball spectacular (airs Mon., Oct. 31) with a flash mob production number, and we've got the exclusive first look right here.

Featuring Kelly Ripa (in some fabulously bright purple lycra pants) and guest co-host Nick Lachey (not sure we'll say the same about his fluorescent shutter shades), the choreographed dance to LMFAO's 'Party Rock Anthem' has more than 100 flash mobbers dancing, all for a confused crowd of onlookers in New York's Lincoln Center.

Back in the studio, 'Project Runway' host Heidi Klum, '90210' star AnnaLynne McCord and 23 other celebrity guests will be on hand for the show as Kelly and Nick re-live this year's biggest headlines and most outrageous shows through costume -- almost 40 different looks in total throughout the show -- from 'Toddlers & Tiaras' to Charlie Sheen and everything in between.

And, of course, the audience members will be dressed up for the costume contest as well -- one lucky person will win the grand prize of $10,000 to shop at HomeGoods.

Whitney's Hidden Camera Scheme Backfires When Alex Asks for a Lap Dance (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 28th 2011 2:30AM
'Whitney' - 'The Wire'To catch Alex using a condescending tone, 'Whitney' (Thu., 9:30PM ET on NBC) set up a hidden camera in the apartment. Only, after taking his brother to an after-party, Alex stopped by Mark's apartment, where he saw the camera feed on the TV.

Rather than have Mark shut it off, Alex decided to put Whitney on the spot. So when he knew everyone was downstairs watching, he decided to redeem that birthday coupon she'd given him for a free lap dance any time.

What followed was one of the most awkward sexy lap dances you have ever seen. We were actually disappointed that he stopped her by telling her he knew about the camera. He could have milked that one all evening by having her embarrass herself in front of the camera.

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 28th 2011 2:15AM
'The Office' - 'Spooked'Andy tasked Erin with putting together the Halloween party on 'The Office' (Thu., 9PM ET on NBC), but when he found out Robert California was going to be stopping by, he got a little worried that it wasn't adult enough.

Erin, though, started getting paranoid that since they'd broken up she was on the verge of losing her job. This wasn't helped when Andy told her they'd talk at the end of the day. So she overcompensated, and took assistance from Gabe of all people.

Seven Scary Stories And One Crazy Person on a Halloween 'Community' (VIDEO)

'Community' - 'Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps'"Troy and Abed sewn together!" --Troy and Abed (sewn together)

Tonight's Halloween episode of 'Community' (Thu., 8PM ET on NBC) was about finding out who in the group might just legitimately be crazy, and while the group never finds out for sure, we almost do by the end.

To help figure it out, Britta coerces them into each telling scary stories, which leads to hilarious vignettes told in the voice of each storyteller. Annie's story was perhaps the most traditional, though romanticized as you might expect from a young person in this 'Twilight' era.

Sheldon Claims to Be Too Smart to Scare on 'The Big Bang Theory' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 28th 2011 1:00AM
'The Big Bang Theory' - 'The Good Guy Fluctuation'While Leonard was struggling, and losing, in his love life, Sheldon was struggling to win the great Halloween Prank War of 2011 on 'The Big Bang Theory' (Thu., 8PM ET on CBS). Leonard, Howard and Raj started it with an elaborate prank in the halls that didn't scare Sheldon at all; only startling him a bit with a flying skeleton.

But it was all a misdirection to a simple stunt of having Leonard stand behind him with a mask on. That one dropped Sheldon to the ground, and then they kept getting the upper hand on him throughout the episode.

Addy's Halloween Night Takes a Shocking Turn on 'American Horror Story' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 27th 2011 6:30AM
'American Horror Story' - 'Halloween, Part 1'Adelaide has been one of the more intriguing characters on 'American Horror Story' (Wed., 10PM ET on FX). It appears that most of the people the Harmons encounter in the house are ghosts, but Addy was always very real. And yet she was in the house almost constantly.

She's been connected with it dating back to the 1970s when she was a child, but the spirits don't seem to wish her any harm. Of course, they don't seem to mess with her mother, Constance, either but that could be because Constance may well be scarier than any of them.

Stephen Colbert Fights Against Environmentalism in Halloween (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 27th 2011 4:30AM
'The Colbert Report'Every year, Halloween comes under assault, but this new environmental-friendly notion of costume swapping is taking it too far. Stephen Colbert took to the airwaves on 'The Colbert Report' (Weeknights, 11:30PM ET on Comedy Central) to decry the besmirching of this noblest of holidays.

"Environmentalism goes against everything Halloween stands for," he said. "Rampant consumerism and waste."

He then gave a poignant and beautiful analogy of the life cycle of a tree, comparing Halloween to "clear-cutting a forest, pulping the trees into lush three-ply toilet paper ... and, as a heartless final insult, [hurling] them at their still living cousins."

Contestants Prank Bob Harper on 'The Biggest Loser,' But it Backfires on Them (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 26th 2011 5:45AM
Bob Harper, 'The Biggest Loser'Halloween Week brought with it a theme of unity and a temptation of candy on 'The Biggest Loser' (Tue., 8PM ET on NBC). The ten remaining finalists were told they were competing as a single unit this week. If they could lose a combined 100 lbs, then no one would be going home.

As a temptation, a bucket filled with ten lbs of candy was hung in the kitchen. For every pound of it someone ate, they would earn a pound advantage on the scale. While none of them seemed to seriously consider eating the candy too much, they did come up with a way to unite in a prank against Bob -- only they may not have thought it all the way through.

Wendy Williams Hosts Halloween Fashion Show for the Dogs (VIDEO)

by Stephanie Opella, posted Oct 25th 2011 6:30PM
'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated on Fox) hosted a unique best-in-fashion show Tuesday, just in time for Halloween. In a segment that paired costumed dog-owners with their pets, the first look down the runway was the 'Sue Sylvester,' a bright red track suit accessorized with a blonde wig and bullhorn, rocked by both a human 'Glee' fan and her little Yorkie.

Next up was 'Wonder Woman,' and while the woman was a ringer for Lynda Cater, her Chinese Crested wasn't co-operating. The tiny dog didn't seem to mind the cape, but as it shook its head, the golden tiara slid over its eyes.

Spook Yourself on Halloween with 'Paranormal Witness'

by Stephanie Earp, posted Oct 25th 2011 5:45PM
This Halloween, if you want to give yourself a good scare, you've got options. You can get down with AMC's flesh-eating 'The Walking Dead' on Sunday, or take in the Canadian debut of 'American Horror Story' on brand-new FX Canada channel on Monday, but for my money, the most genuine chills to be had are over on Space (Mondays at 10PM), with 'Paranormal Witness.'

Quietly growing its audience from week to week, this reality series is surprisingly effective considering the tools in its arsenal are pretty familiar. It retells scary and unexplained stories using a mixture of reenactments, interviews with actual people, archival audio and video and lots of spooky sound and lighting effects. So basically, things 'America's Most Wanted' wasn't doing. But the show transcends the sum of its parts, and I think it comes down to great writing and great casting.
