ABC Picks Up Ashley Judd Series 'Missing,' 'Breaking In' Could Live On and More TV News

Ashley JuddABC has picked up the Ashley Judd drama 'Missing' to series.

The show, which stars Judd as the mother of a son who goes missing while studying abroad in Rome, began production on the first of its 10 episodes this week.

ABC has yet to announce which of its other pilots have been ordered to series. Meanwhile, Fox and NBC both picked up several new shows earlier this week. Expect a steady stream of announcements before the networks present their programming slates to the press at upfronts next week.

In other TV news ...

'Breaking In' isn't as dead as previously thought. According to new reports, Fox is still considering renewing the series but won't make a decision until after upfronts. [Deadline]

Alton Brown has decided to end his Food Network series 'Good Eats.' The host said recently on Twitter that after 249 episodes, he won't make any new ones. [LA Weekly]

'Teen Mom 2' star Jenelle Evans has entered rehab. The troubled mom of Jace, 1, is reportedly not seeking treatment for drug or alcohol abuse -- just the tried-and-true "exhaustion." [PopEater]

Hayden Christensen Sues USA Network

According to the NY Post, actor Hayden Christensen and his brother filed a lawsuit against USA Network Tuesday claiming that 'Royal Pains' was stolen from a pitch they made in 2005.
