Don't miss Full Color Football this week
by Allison Waldman, posted Dec 28th 2009 12:01PM
Over the holiday weekend, I practiced a little TiVo catharsis (which I know have to rename DVR catharsis since it's not an TiVo product). Yes, I checked out my list of shows piled up on the DVR and started watching some of them. There was one that I have to tell you about because you have a chance to watch it this week.Showtime ran a five-part documentary series about the history of the American Football League called Full Color Football. On Wednesday, December 30, Showtime is running the episodes as a Full Color marathon starting at 7 p.m.
Even MTV knows that The Hills is stupid
by Bob Sassone, posted Apr 28th 2009 12:40PM
Isn't it funny how the networks themselves are getting in on the web commentary about their shows? We have ABC giving recaps of Lost using action figures, and here's MTV giving a rather funny recap of The Hills, their show with untalented people doing dumb things in annoying ways. For good measure, the host also gets in some shots at Lindsay Lohan and Perez Hilton.

The Hills star makes the same mistake as John Lennon
by Brad Trechak, posted Jul 1st 2008 4:39PM
It looks like Heidi Montag from The Hills has made the same mistake as legendary musician John Lennon: she compared herself to Jesus. Of course, that's where the Beatles analogy stops. Unlike the cast of The Hills, Lennon actually had talent. It began when she was accused of spreading rumors about an alleged sex tape of Lauren, another cast member. "I don't even want to talk about that. There were rumors about a sex tape, but I had nothing to do with that. God knows the truth in all of this, and at the end of the day, that is the only thing that matters. Jesus was persecuted, and I'm going to get persecuted, ya know? But it doesn't matter to me," said Montag.
Whoa. Right up there with never getting involved in a land war in Asia is comparing yourself to Jesus in any capacity in an interview. Given the current social climate and her laughable role in it, Heidi Montag will probably not be persecuted for her statements. Which is quite different than the situation Jesus found himself in.
