Another 'Lost' star has finally booked his first post-Island role.

Henry Ian Cusick, who played handsome Scotsman Desmond Hume on 'Lost,' will play the lead in ABC's new Shonda Rhimes pilot about professional crisis management consultant Olivia Price. Cusick's character is a lawyer who works for Kerry Washington's Price, TV Line reports.

Actress Katie Lowes has also landed a role on the show as a young lawyer on the team.

• CBS greenlit the J.J. Abrams / Jonah Nolan pilot 'Person of Interest.' The show is about an "ex-CIA hitman and a scientist who team up to prevent crimes before they happen." [Entertainment Weekly]

• Kathy Griffin wants a Tony, which is probably why she's heading to Broadway with a limited-run show called 'Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony.' The show will run from March 11–13 and 15–19, and the comedian will tackle "fresh material due to the revolving door of pop culture, political and celebrity missteps." [The Hollywood Reporter]

• Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt might be interested in joining the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' cast, but Andy Cohen isn't into it. "Hell no," tweeted the 'Watch What Happens Live' host yesterday when someone asked if he'd consider it. [Twitter]

'Law & Order: SVU' is already the most popular and critically acclaimed of the vast NBC 'L&O' empire. Did it really need to add the brilliant Henry Ian Cusick to the cast? Maybe its going for "most beautiful" as well.

The former 'Lost' star has signed for at least two episodes for this fall, according to TV Guide. Executive producer Neal Baer says they were looking for someone who is "a sharp, smart leader and very charismatic." Already a fan of 'Lost,' he thought of Cusick.

On whether or not Cusick's character, who's described as a graphic artist named Erik Weber, will be a potential new love interest for Mariska Hargitay's Det. Olivia Benson, Baer is more cryptic. "There might be some flirtation," he admits. "Erik meets Olivia when he comes to someone's aid. And then we'll see how it goes." We interpret that to mean if the chemistry is there, Cusick just might be asked to stick around a bit longer.

It's hard to imagine any woman not having instant attraction and chemistry to Cusick. What do you think? Is Cusick a good match for Benson?

Don't go into the light, Des! During the series finale of 'Lost' (Sun., 9PM ET on ABC), Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) finally fulfills his destiny on the island at the direction of two sworn enemies.

Just because last night's episode of 'Lost' was a rerun (and a surprise rerun at that), that doesn't mean there isn't any news about the show that we can discuss until next week's all-new episode 'The Candidate.'

After the jump, three nuggets of information show fans might be interested in: Henry Ian Cusick explains that ring that Desmond was wearing in this season's first episode, talks about that final cast photo (that he's not in), and we find out what star of a long-running NBC drama is going to make an appearance in one of the last episodes.

(S06E12) You can certainly tell that we've turned the corner on this final season of 'Lost.' Suddenly, the alpha-verse and beta-verse seem to be on a collision course with one another, and I'm very intentionally using that expression. With Desmond on the loose in both universes now, things have gotten a lot more interesting, even if I'm still not 100% clear what either of his motivations are.

As expected, the beta-verse Hurley is every bit the financial success with Mr. Cluck's that the alpha-verse Hurley could never quite manage. What was alpha-Hurley's deep-rooted desire, if I'm going to continue that theory, that the beta-verse fulfilled? He said many times that he didn't want the millions he won in the lottery, but I think it was his never-ending plague of bad luck that he really wanted to get rid of. Trying to shed his winnings was just a means to his desired end.

Is 'Lost' (Tue., 9PM ET on ABC) not the most insane, mind-blowing show that ever existed? Flashing forwards, backwards and sideways to the alphaverse, betaverse, the Temple, Dharmaville, New Otherton -- sheesh!

On last night's craziness, Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) and Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) find themselves (again) under water, with Desmond (again) given the chance to save Charlie's life. As Charlie raises his hand to the glass, Desmond flashes to a season 3 timeline, when Charlie was about to drown and pressed his palm to the glass to relay the 'Not Penny's Boat' message.

But that's not even the most shocking part: Desmond doesn't know who Penny is!? The love of his life??

(S06E10) Knowing this was a Desmond-centric episode, I expected us to take a major step forward in understanding the beta-verse, perhaps even experiencing it in a whole new way. Ever since the explosion at the hatch, Desmond seems to experience everything a little differently, and he's always there with his finger on the truth, even if he has no idea what that truth was.

Parallels between alpha- and beta- were running rampant throughout this episode. Fisher Stevens even returned in the beta-verse, to serve as Desmond's guide as he did once before, when Desmond was trapped in time. We got beta-appearances by Charlie, Daniel Faraday, Charles Widmore and even Eloise Hawking. Every encounter was a further step toward confusion and understanding.

Every 'Lost' fan has one (OK, at least one) mystery from the show that they're dying to have answered before the series ends. But what about the stars of the show?
I caught up with Jack, Locke/Smocke, Ben, Sun, Jin, Hurley, Richard Alpert and Desmond -- known off the Island as Matthew Fox, Terry O'Quinn, Michael Emerson, Yunjin Kim, Daniel Dae Kim, Jorge Garcia, Nestor Carbonell and Henry Ian Cusick -- and some more of their 'Lost' pals in Hawaii to find out what they want to see resolved in this final season.

With answers ranging from the numbers (which we're just beginning to scratch the surface on), to the origins of the Island, this quick video makes me love them -- and this show -- even more. Of course it always helps to hear Benjamin Linus threaten harm to the smoke monster, too.

(S06E03) "It's the Others, dude. They caught us ... again." - Hurley

As 'What Kate Does' unfolded, I couldn't help but shake the feeling that everything we're witnessing in the "post-Jughead worked" 2004 time-line is going to end up being very important. Of course, that could have been due to the fact that in this past week's Official 'Lost' Audio Podcast, Cuse and Lindelof essentially laid it bare for us -- there is no alternate reality happening here. What's going on in LA in 2004 and what's going on in 2007 on the island are both very real.

The question to ask is what effect actions in one time-line will have on the events in the other. As far as 'Lost' mindf#%ks go, this one is a doozie, because it's forced us to reevaluate everything we remember about these characters, right back to the pilot episode.

(S06E01/S06E02) "We're back." - Kate

Did you hear that? That was the collective sound of TV fans across the country all brain-farting in unison. 'Lost' is back for its final season and I've gotta be honest -- I'm not really sure what to think about 'LA X.' In four or five months time, once the series has concluded, I'm positive I'll think differently about it. However, right now, 'LA X' was easily one of the most confusing hours of 'Lost' yet, and despite ABC's promos promising that "questions would be answered," all it gave us was a jumbo-jet (literally) chock full of new ones. Whatever ... I still loved every second of it.

(S05E16/S05E17) "See you in Los Angeles." - Jack

I'm not really sure where to begin, but I think this is a pretty good starting point: holy crap. Just like every season finale before this one, Lost has once again left us all with our jaws on the floor and our brains on overdrive. This changes everything. The big question? How does it change everything? Is it January yet?

(S05E15) "I have a purpose now." - Locke

I can't believe how fast this season of Lost has gone by. There's probably a time-travel joke buried in that realization somewhere, but my head is still spinning from "Follow the Leader," so I'm not really in clever witticism mode. Honestly, I'm speechless. For the most part, this wasn't one of my favorite episodes of the season. But for me to be at a loss for words at one of Lost's sub-par installments - well that says something about the quality of this show. "Follow the Leader" was a lot of set up for next week's two hour finale and the events that have been set in motion (even though it seems they always happened) are mind-numbing.

(S05E14) "Well, I got some bad news for you Jack. You don't belong here at all. She was wrong." - Faraday

After listening to Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof ranting in last week's Lost audio podcast, I didn't expect "The Variable" to be this much of a game changer. Everything we thought we knew about the island, time travel, and course correcting - it all got turned upside down. I think it's safe to say that the 100th episode of Lost is going to be remembered for more than just its milestone significance.

(S05E13) "That douche is my dad." - Miles

I've been waiting for an episode like this. We've gotten close to nothing when it comes to backstory on the freighter folk and had it not been for the writer's strike, I'm guessing that "Some Like it Hoth" (or at least something Miles related) would have aired during season four. Last time we got any substantial info on Miles' orgins was "Confirmed Dead" and all that filled us in on was ghost whisperin' powers and his conscience - ripping people off doesn't come easy for him. We got a helluva lot more info this time around.

(S05E12) "Well... John, we don't even have a word for it. But I believe you call it 'the monster'" - Ben

Wow, I'm not quite sure where to begin. This wasn't one of the best episodes of Lost (for lack of a better term, it was safe), but I walked away from it feeling enlightened. It's not often that Lost leaves you with more answers than questions.

That being said, I still have a ton of f%#k&$g questions.
