Wilson Tries to Trap House While Searching for Guns on 'House' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 29th 2011 12:30AM
'House' - 'Perils of Paranoia'A patient with a massive stockpile of guns led to a fun cat-and-mouse between House and Wilson on 'House' (Mon., 9PM ET On FOX). Wilson was convinced/concerned that House had a gun, which would be a clear violation of his parole, while House insisted he did not.

The ensuing traps and pranks throughout the episode were very inventive, as was the moment when Wilson finally succeeded in trapping House. Even though House gave props to his friend in that moment, Wilson ultimately didn't find the truth ... though we think a lot of that had to do with Wilson not wanting to find out the truth.

Hugh Laurie Says He'll Retire From TV After 'House'

by Crystal Bell, posted Nov 28th 2011 12:15PM
hugh laurie retiring After eight seasons, the end of 'House' could be looming, and with it, comes the end of Hugh Laurie's decorated TV career.

In an interview with the UK's Daily Record, the British actor revealed that once Fox's medical drama comes to an end, he's done with TV roles.

"I think I have been rather spoiled here [in America]," he said. "I can't imagine there will be another one quite like this. And I think I am extremely lucky to have had the one shot that I have had at it, and I wouldn't go looking for lightning to strike twice."

'House' Tackles the Dead and the Disturbed in Two Bizarre Cases (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 22nd 2011 3:00AM
Madison Davenport, 'House'FOX promised us a surprise twist we would not see coming on this week's 'House' (Mon., 9PM ET on FOX) and they delivered. As for Dr. House, he spent the week splitting his time between diagnosing a dead patient and a living one. The living one was not only much more savable, her case was also far more intriguing -- never mind the dead one had him risking parole.

Madison Davenport, perhaps most recognized by TV fans for a recurring role on HBO's 'Shameless,' does a fantastic job of playing the sullen and grouchy teenager Iris here. But there's more to her condition than typical teen angst and rebelliousness.

Surprise Office Makeover on 'House' (VIDEO)

by Catherine Lawson, posted Nov 8th 2011 8:30AM
'House' office makoverOn this week's episode of 'House' (Mon., 9PM ET on Fox) the irascible doctor surprises his team with a refurbishment of their office space. As they sit patiently sipping their cocktails and waiting for the big reveal, they dream of having all sorts of exciting new additions to their working area, like a hot tub or sauna. Or even a bar, perhaps?

But when their boss opens the curtain to reveal "Phase One of Outer Office 2.0" they're greeted with basically the same old office and their faces drop. It looks like nothing's changed. And that's when House shows off his new gizmo: With the touch of a button the wall separating his office from Wilson's rises into the ceiling, removing any sense of privacy Wilson -- and his patients -- may have had. Needless to say, it's not a popular innovation.

What to Watch: TV Picks for November 7 - 13

by Stephanie Earp, posted Nov 7th 2011 9:20AM
Glee - Tuesday November 8, 8PM ET/PT, Global/Fox

The episode title is 'The First Time' so that should give you a hint of some of the big developments that happen at McKinley High this week. Blaine and Rachel may be partially motivated to heat things up in their private lives when Artie tells them they have zero sexual chemistry as Maria and Tony in the school production of 'West Side Story'. So basically, we're getting teenage sex both gay and straight, and a handful of truly classic songs all on the same night!

Can House Convince Thirteen to Return to the Hospital? (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 18th 2011 6:15AM
'House' - 'Charity Case'Was this the last we'll see of Thirteen on 'House' (Mon., 9PM ET on FOX)? At least the show didn't kill her off -- or worse -- for her departure. In fact, it was one of the more surprisingly gentle character exits, though House seemed pretty confident that he hadn't seen the last of her.

Thirteen revealed that she's in a relationship now and that she and her girlfriend are planning to travel. Further, she's stepped away from medicine. As House put it, "You decided to enjoy what time you have left?"

by Jean Bentley, posted Oct 11th 2011 6:30PM
Jaleel WhiteThe man formerly known as Steve Urkel is now officially on a TV comeback streak.

Hot off his guest stint as a convict buddy of House's during the 'House' season premiere, Jaleel White has booked another gig.

The 34-year-old actor will host a new game show on Syfy called 'Total Blackout.' According to the network, the unscripted series is not your typical wacky challenge-based show -- the entire thing takes place in complete darkness. Contestants will face their fears as well as their competitors in spooky games full of surprises.

Wilson Welcomes Dr. House Back With a Closed Fist on 'House' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 11th 2011 3:15AM
'House' - 'Transplant'After a premiere that saw us hanging out in prison to see how Dr. House is getting along there, 'House' (Mon., 9PM ET on FOX) brought us back to familiar environs this week. In an almost logical move, Foreman was tapped to replace Cuddy at the top of the food chain, which should make for some interesting tugs of war between the two as the season progresses.

He hooked House up with a new and smaller office, perhaps as a statement that things aren't going to be the way they were. Except that ultimately they will be. House got his office back, but not his team. Instead we get a new doctor, in Charlyne Yi's Dr. Park.

'House' Star Charlyne Yi Pisses Off Hugh Laurie By Revealing His Nickname

by Maggie Furlong, posted Oct 10th 2011 4:15PM
Charlyne Yi as Dr. Chi Park, 'House''House' might have been in prison for last week's premiere, but tonight he'll be busting out to help out the gang back at Princeton Plainsboro with a very interesting case.

We've already met Odette Annable's new character. Dr. Jessica Adams (read AOL TV's exclusive interview here), but she isn't the only fresh face around: Charlyne Yi makes her 'House' debut tonight, and her Dr. Chi Park is not your typical TV doc.

I caught up with Yi -- who's best known for a bit part in 'Knocked Up,' her indie screenwriting debut 'Paper Heart' and some comedic storytelling and song-singing on late night TV shows -- to hear more about her character, her adjustment to life on series television and which star she honestly thought hated her on her first day at 'House.'

She also gave away a possible on-set nickname for star Hugh Laurie, who's the Martin to her Lewis ... or maybe vice versa.

Dr. House Incites a Riot in the Big House on the 'House' Premiere (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 4th 2011 2:15AM
'House' - 'Twenty Vicodin'You didn't expect Dr. Gregory House to take his incarceration quietly, did you? As widely reported, the eighth season premiere of 'House' (Mon., 9PM ET on FOX) had the not-so-good doctor wrapping up his first year in prison for driving into Cuddy's house and then fleeing the scene.

Here we got to meet Dr. Jessica Adams, who's the doctor there. She and House develop a grudging respect for one another when she sees his diagnostics genius, and he can certainly appreciate her willingness to take risks and shirk the rules.

'House' Star Odette Annable Talks New Doctor Hazing On Set & Pulling Double Duty With 'Breaking In'

by Maggie Furlong, posted Oct 3rd 2011 12:00PM
Odette Annable, 'House''House' is mixing things up again for its eighth season (premieres Mon., Oct. 3, 9PM ET on Fox), bringing in two new female doctors to fill the void where Lisa Edelstein's Cuddy and Olivia Wilde's Thirteen used to be.

Yes, we'll get a bit more Thirteen, just not much ... but once you meet Fox's other new girls, you might not mind. Comedienne Charlyne Yi's Dr. Chi Park, who shares a bit of Thirteen's tightly wound nature, is introduced in the second episode, and Odette Annable's whip-smart Dr. Jessica Adams proves she's not afraid to challenge House in the season premiere.

I caught up with Annable to talk about Adams, her potential romantic interests at Princeton-Plainsboro and her efforts to be House's equal.

Annable also talked about being hazed on set, pulling double duty on 'Breaking In' (and wanting a crossover episode between the two shows) and whether or not she'd want her real-life husband, 'Brothers & Sisters' alum Dave Annable, to come guest star.

What to Watch: TV Picks for October 3 - 9

by Stephanie Earp, posted Oct 3rd 2011 10:00AM
House - Monday October 3, 9PM ET/PT, Global/Fox

The season premiere picks up a year after we last saw our favourite angry doctor, and he' s now serving time for all that crap he pulled. It's refreshing to see House finally suffer a few consequences for all his crazy behaviour, and giving Hugh Laurie the chance to play House behind bars is absolutely inspired. Jaleel White guests as his cellmate and new bestie, and of course -- I mean, come on, you knew it would go this way -- he treats a fellow prisoner with strange symptoms.
