'Suburgatory' (Wed., 8:30PM ET on ABC) follows the perhaps rash decision of single father to move his daughter from the bright lights of Manhattan to the suburbs. But this surreal little community is more like a cross between 'The Stepford Wives' and 'Edward Scissorhands' than any real suburban neighborhood.

Teenager daughter Tessa is understandably freaked out and uncomfortable in her new environment, but it's nice to see that the writers haven't forgotten that her father George would be just as out of place. We loved both of them freaking out over how quiet it is at night.

Sure there are plenty of big stars coming to TV this fall, but there are also some lesser-known names to look out for.

There's a talented and sassy bunny from 'The Playboy Club,' a British TV host we'll all be swooning over, a 'Charlie's Angels' vixen you'll love to see in action and a reality TV star-turned-dramatic leading man.



There are also a few new additions to returning shows we love, like the familiar face that's stopping by 'Glee' to romance Mercedes, and the sexy brunette who'll be pulling double-duty on Fox this fall with a turn on 'House.'

Aaron Sorkin is heading to '30 Rock.'

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Oscar nominee will play himself in an episode set to air this spring.

Will he finally put to rest the 'Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip' / '30 Rock' weirdness? Time will tell.

The 'West Wing' creator has appeared on screen before. Besides a cameo in 'The Social Network,' he recently popped up on 'Entourage.'

• Grayson Smiley, son of 'Real Housewives of Orange County' fixture Slade Smiley, will appear on tonight's episode of 'Glee.' Grayson, who has a rare form of brain cancer, will pop up in a scene where the characters perform at a children's hospital. [The Orange County Register]

• Robert Taylor has been cast in A&E's 'Longmire.' The 'Matrix' actor will play Walt Longmire, a widowed sheriff in Absaroka County, Wyo. The series is based on Craig Johnson's series of mystery novels. [Deadline Hollywood]
