'Wonder Year's' Danica McKellar Is Having A Baby
by Allison Waldman, posted Mar 17th 2010 6:00PM
Wow. Winnie Cooper is going to be a mom. That's right, the kid we watched – some of us in original broadcast episodes and not reruns – is having a baby. 'The Wonder Years'' actress Danica McKellar is pregnant. It's the first child for her and husband Mike Verta. Danica told People magazine, "I'm nearing the end of my first trimester and I'm so excited – I've been bursting to tell people." The 35-year-old veteran of 'The Wonder Years' -- and brainiac mathematician -- has been working on a new book, her third, called 'Hot X: Algebra Exposed.' It comes out in August if you're ready to pre-order it!
ABC double-dipping Better Off Ted and Scrubs
by Bob Sassone, posted Dec 21st 2009 11:30AM
While it's great that fans of Scrubs will be able to see two episodes of the show each and every week starting January 5, that's actually not a sign that ABC loves the show so much and it gets such great ratings that they want to have it on their schedule as much as possible. They're burning off all of the episodes quickly. They're doing the same thing with Better Off Ted, which somehow made it to a second season (that's not a comment on the show, I'm talking about how it was a surprise that ABC renewed it). Both shows will have two episodes on Tuesday nights for the next several weeks, and both shows will see their 13 episode seasons end in late January.
Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that the shows won't be back for another season (after all, we all thought Scrubs was gone a couple of seasons ago), but it probably means that the shows won't be back for another season.
FOX announces midseason schedule
by Bob Sassone, posted Nov 25th 2009 11:03AM
It's strange that not only is it almost 2010 but it's the end of the decade. The end of a year also means that it's time for the midseason shows to make their appearance. We already know that Chuck and Lost are coming back (January and February, respectively) and now FOX has announced their midseason schedule. After the jump, full details on when we'll see the return of Jack Bauer, Simon Cowell, Gordon Ramsay, reality shows, new shows, and special episodes of your favorites.
