Did Bethenny Frankel Fake Being Lost at Sea for Her TV Show?
by Catherine Lawson, posted Oct 11th 2011 6:45AM
Bethenny Frankel has parlayed being a cast member of 'The Real Housewives of New York City' into a flourishing business empire and reality TV show franchise. Now, however, questions are being asked about how "real" her reality show is. Are some scenes faked for the cameras?Last month Frankel said that she and husband Jason Hoppy were lost at sea off of the Massachusetts coastline for 20 hours: "It was traumatic. Absolutely traumatic."
Sounds scary, right? Well, maybe not. Frankel's rescuer Tim Russell says that she was never lost at sea, or in any danger, and that the whole thing was a phoney, staged for the benefit of the Bravo camera crew on board the boat with her.
Real Housewives' Bethenny Frankel is real pregnant

Bethenny Frankel has been busy making news. First, she was feuding with the other women on The Real Housewives of New York City. Then, she was replaced on Real Housewives by Sonja Morgan because Bethenny is getting her own Bravo show. Last week, she announced her engagement to Jason Hoppy. Today, Bethenny's confirmed that she's pregnant... and yes, Jason is the father.Bethenny is two months along and claims she would have preferred keeping the baby news quiet until she'd gotten through her first trimester. It's understandable because it's her first baby and some people are superstitious about saying anything too soon.
Buh-bye Housewives! Bethenny scores her own show
by Allison Waldman, posted Jul 16th 2009 1:29PM
The way I see it, Bethenny Frankel was the star of The Real Housewives of New York City ... even though she wasn't a housewife. What was she doing on the show in the first place? Anyway, she was the most dynamic of the group and with her interests in fashion, food and partying, she had the most to offer viewers. The powers that be have seen what I did because Bethenny Frankel is getting her own Bravo show.Starting this fall, Bethenny will be front and center in a new show called Skinny & the City. As you'd expect, she will not be coming back to The Real Housewives of New York City -- however, she might not be the only one out because rumor has it that the ladies have all been looking for a substantial pay raise.
