Lauren Graham Doesn't Want to Freak America Out, But She's Dating Her TV Brother (VIDEO)

by Nick Zaino, posted Sep 9th 2011 2:00PM
Lauren Graham and her boyfriend/brother Peter Krause on 'Today'Lauren Graham had a great summer vacation in Venice in between seasons of 'Parenthood,' but she'd rather not say too much about it. It's not that she's too private a person, it's just that her boyfriend is Peter Krause, who plays Adam Braverman, her TV brother, on 'Parenthood.' She thought that might be too much for the Friday morning audience on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC).

"I went with my boyfriend, I just don't like to talk about it because I don't want to freak people out," said Graham. It was pointed out to her that Krause is her brother. "Oh my god! Wait! What? Look, it's America. My boyfriend is my brother. You can do anything you want."

Jason Ritter talks about John Ritter and 'The Event' on 'The Talk'Jason Ritter shared good news for fans of 'The Event' on 'The Talk' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS), when he discussed plans to continue the canceled NBC series, in one form or another, to address its unanswered questions. He also shared some advice his late father John Ritter's advice on navigating celebrity and show business.

"We made all these promises that we would give them answers and so they're still looking for a way to continue telling the story," said Ritter about 'The Event.' "Whether another channel picks it up, they're still in talks to see if that can happen. Maybe do a wrap-up miniseries. They eventually will be getting the answers out in some format or another. Comic book, maybe? I don't know."

NBC's 'The Event' Gets Huge Buzz at Comic Con

jason_ritter_The_event_nbc'The Event' deals with a young man -- Jason Ritter -- who's thrust into the middle of mystical game of espionage as he tries to find his missing girlfriend.

Most of the panel for the NBC series that's best described as part 'Lost' and part '24' was taken up by the screening of the show's pilot. Fans had only about 15 minutes for a moderator-conducted Q&A with the ensemble show's cast, which is headlined by Jason Ritter, Blair Underwood and Laura Innes.

But the good news is that If the crowd reaction was any indication, THIS is the must-see series of the fall. If you're still going through Jack Bauer and Jack Shephard withdrawal, trust us -- Ritter's Sean Walker is your new hero.

Each act break ended on a compelling cliffhanger, the biggest one was saved for the end of the show. Kudos to producers for informing viewers as to when a scene was set by starting each one off with "eight days ago" or "13 hours ago." It would be nice if 'Lost' had done that all shows with big casts and lots of flashbacks would do that.

Creator Nick Wauters explained that there are definitely elements of "mystery, sci-fi, thrillers, and a love story" to 'The Event.' "We wanted to create something that' has a little bit of something for everyone."

'Parenthood' - 'What's Goin' On Down There?' Recap

Parenthood, What's Goin' On Down There?
(S01E07) "Would you boys like to come over for a play date?" - Yoga girl to Crosby

I love 'Parenthood.' Yes, there's a lot of people to keep track of, but it's all good. The show has some great players, but really, all I need is Peter Krause and Lauren Graham. And Dax Shepard and Jason Ritter. He reminds me of his dad, which makes me both happy and sad, but mostly happy.

The kids on this show are awesome, too -- Max Burkholder, Mae Whitman, Tyree Brown ... ok, since I'm filling in for Danny, I'll stop crushing on all the actors and get to the review. Follow me after the jump.

What to Watch: April 5 - 11

by Stephanie Earp, posted Apr 5th 2010 12:40PM

Bones
- Wednesday April 7, 8 pm, Global/Fox

For the 100th episode of 'Bones', David Boreanaz directs a backward-looking episode that recalls the early days of the Booth-Brennan relationship and how romance almost got in the way of the work. I too remember the early days of 'Bones' - the expensive 3-D technology they used to reconstruct a body, seeing Angel in a suit, the awkward dialogue of the overly-techy techies. I admit, I didn't think the show would make it this far. But there's no doubt Emily Deschanel and Boreanaz have great chemistry and that the show has grown and improved since those early days. Is it the new 'Moonlighting'? Not exactly, but it still deserves kudos.

1. Where were you born?
Los Angeles, California.

2. How many siblings do you have?
Three. Carly, Tyler, and Stella.

4. Do you have any pets?
I had a lot growing up! My apartment doesn't allow pets. I want a dog though! I love dogs. Thelma and Louise were our two dogs growing up. We also over the years had a bunch of cats. First we had Pippi, who my sister named (The Pippi Longstocking movie had just come out), and Pippi had two kittens, that my brother and I each got to name. I named mine "Fluffy," because I'm sooo creative, and my brother named his "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Ghostbuster," who was also known to the rest of us as "patches."

The Fall's Hottest Hotties

by Brett Love, posted Oct 9th 2006 11:04AM
Adrianne Palicki - Friday Night LightsThere is an odd list over at MSN where they pick Fall TV's Hottest Hotties. It's strange because of the haphazard way they go about the list. Apparently 25 wasn't enough slots, so they have the entire cast of Studio 60, and the cast of Prison Break on the list. Now, I'll give you Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, but when you say the "cast of Prison Break" you are including Robert Knepper (T-Bag) and Peter Stormare (Abruzzi). They are both great in their parts, but hotties?

Another oddity is that David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel from Bones are lumped together in the list. It's strange not only because she is the third hottest woman on that show, but also because later Jason Ritter and Lizzy Caplan from The Class take up two separate spots.

As with every list like this, someone always gets left off. I would have liked to see Adrianne Palicki (Tyra on Friday Night Lights) in there somewhere. She's cute and that show can use all the help in can get right now. And it is hard to argue with Anya from Deal or No Deal. Unless you bring up that her only line on the show is "Hi Howie." Who is your favorite Fall Hottie?
