'American Idol' Season 11 Preview: Tears, Hugs and Screams
'American Idol' Season 11 is almost upon us!The Fox singing competition returns in January and if the preview below is any indication, it will be filled with our favorite 'Idol' standbys: frustrated contestants, Steven Tyler's antics, tears and declarations that these 20somethings will be "stars."
Tyler will be joined at the judges table by both Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez, despite lengthy contract talks for the latter. Ryan Seacrest returns as host.

Univision Picks Up Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony's New Talent Competition Series
The leading Spanish-language network Univision, recently picked up '¡Q'Viva! The Chosen,' a Latin American reality talent competition from 'American Idol' creator Simon Fuller, Jennifer Lopez, her soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony and show director Jamie King. (How do you say "awkward" in Spanish?)"Very soon the world's heart will beat to the tune of Latin rhythms and we're looking forward to experiencing history in the making, Lopez said in a statement. "It is with great pride that we embark on this amazing and very personal mission to discover and celebrate the most captivating talent the world has ever seen."
'Good Day NY' Looks At Marc Anthony's 'Nightline' Interview (VIDEO)
You knew when Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez announced their divorce in July that the exclusive interviews wouldn't be far behind. They have arrived, the latest one being Marc Anthony's interview with John Quinones for 'Nightline' Thursday night. Friday morning, 'Good Day New York' (weekdays, 9AM ET on Fox) entertainment reporter Julie Chang recounted the interview.Chang said the couple had mutually agreed to the divorce. "We realized very, very early on that even though we're not together, this story's not over," Anthony told 'Nightline.' "There's stuff to do together. There's life to see together through Max and Emmy. You know what I mean? So it's all good, man."

In the showbiz world, nothing is official until the ink dries on the contract. That's why, despite 'American Idol' producer Nigel Lythgoe telling host Ryan Seacrest on the radio last week that Jennifer Lopez would be back for Season 11 of the Fox hit, we couldn't be certain if J.Lo would actually be back in 2012.Thankfully, both sides were able to work out a deal, and now Fox has officially announced that all three of last season's judges -- Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy "Dawg" Jackson -- will return to gage the singing prowess of America's superstar hopefuls on 'American Idol' this spring.
Nigel Lythgoe: Jennifer Lopez Returning to 'American Idol'
Jennifer Lopez is returning to 'American Idol,' executive producer Nigel Lythgoe announced Wednesday morning on 'Idol' host Ryan Seacrest's radio show."I am delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of 'American Idol,' [are] back for the next season," Lythgoe said in an interview on 'On Air with Ryan Seacrest.'
Lopez's 'Idol' future was up in the air for much of the summer. In an interview with BBC, Lopez said she was unsure whether or not she would return to the Fox reality competition series.
'The Chosen' Will Continue Despite J-Lo and Marc Anthony's Divorce, Reports 'Today' (VIDEO)
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony may be going through a high-profile divorce, but they will still be working together. According to a report on Tuesday's 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC), their marriage was more contentious than appearances might have suggested, but they will still work together on a new Latin talent show called 'The Chosen.''Today' reported on other news stories that quoted Lopez saying she and Anthony had fought about everything, and that they were "spicy." Lopez also reportedly said of the relationship, "Sometimes I need to be in charge, sometimes he needs to be in charge." Lopez also said she respected Anthony as a singer, a performer, and as the father of her children.
Helen Mirren Gets 'Body of the Year' Award (VIDEO)
Helen Mirren is 66-years-old, but she beat out women decades younger, like Elle MacPherson, Pippa Middleton, and Jennifer Lopez, in an LA Fitness "Body of the Year" poll. 'The Early Show' (weekdays, 7AM on CBS) reported on the poll Tuesday, talking to people on the sidewalk in Times Square to see who they'd choose.LA Fitness polled 2,000 people to come up with Mirren, who appeared nude at 58 in the movie 'Calendar Girls.' "She's got a fabulous body, she really does," said one man on the street, looking at a photo of Mirren in a bikini. "But I don't know, I'd still pick J-Lo over her."
A couple of younger women in Times Square also thought it was "awesome" that a 66-year-old woman could top the poll. "I think she has a better body than I do right now," said one. MacPherson, at 48, came in second, and Cheryl Cole was the only one in the top five under thirty. Who says LA is obsessed with youth?
Jennifer Lopez's New 'American Idol' Deal Reportedly Worth More Than $20 Million
Jennifer Lopez and Fox have reportedly reached a new deal to keep the singer/actress with 'American Idol' for another year. The deal will net a Lopez a sum of just over $20 million, according to The Wrap.
Lopez joined the show in Season 10 as part of the new judging panel alongside Steven Tyler and 'Idol' veteran Randy Jackson. Her contract was for only one season and Lopez made statements to the press about her indecision to stick with the Fox reality series.
"I don't know," Lopez told BBC Radio about returning to the hit show. "I haven't been forced to make a decision and I'm glad about that because honestly I'm very on the fence about it."
According to the Hollywood Reporter, her Season 10 deal was for $12 million. In 2006, Simon Cowell signed a contract that gave him $33 million per season for 'American Idol.'
Jennifer Lopez Close to Renewing Her 'American Idol' Contract
It seems as though the game of cat and mouse that Jennifer Lopez has been playing with 'American Idol' execs all summer may soon be at an end.According to 'The Wall Street Journal,' Lopez is close to signing a deal that will bring her back to the 'American Idol' judging panel for at least one more season.
When Lopez's original one-year contract -- estimated at $12 million -- expired back in May she said she was "on the fence" about committing to the series for another season, and she's been pitching her own TV talent show to networks.
'Idol' execs, in return, then let it be known that they were lining up possible replacements should they be unable to lure her back.

Tuesday on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC), Williams said she doesn't believe the couple are actually divorced, calling the whole thing a "publicity stunt.""I don't believe that thing about the video lover, I don't believe that they are divorced," said Williams, to an incredulous panel. Williams talked about Simon Cowell starting to hype up the 'X Factor,' Paula Abdul's return to television, and the success of 'The Voice' as part of her conspiracy theory. She laid it down as if she were talking sense to someone who refused to believe.

A rep told THR, "The show goes on. 'Q'Viva!,' the hotly anticipated 2012 celebration of Latin music, artistry and dance, is set to film this autumn in South America with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony as previously announced."

Judging by their recent public appearances, Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez seemed to have a happy, healthy marriage. They performed together on the season finale of 'American Idol,' which ended with a passionate kiss. Three weeks ago, Anthony was on 'The Talk' waxing romantic about the first time he met J-Lo, and talking about being "all in" for the marriage. So it came as something of a shock when they announced Friday that they were divorcing after seven years of marriage, which 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM on ABC) reported Monday.'GMA' quoted the couple's statement to the press Friday, which said, "We have decided to end our marriage. This was a difficult decision." The report also mentioned Lopez's banner year, including her job judging 'American Idol,' People magazine naming her the "World's Most Beautiful Woman," and her new single 'On the Floor.'
'GMA' also mentioned that Lopez has had several high-profile relationships, and was married twice previous to her marriage to Anthony. The report also mentioned the cliché "Seven Year Itch," which seemed like a reach for an explanation.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are getting a divorce.The TV power couple released the following statement to People:
"We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.
"It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."
The couple has been married for seven years and recently collaborated on Latin American talent show, 'Q'Viva: The Chosen.'
Lopez joined 'American Idol' last season and has yet to reveal her plans for next season. Anthony recently joined the cast of TNT's 'Hawthorne.'

Jennifer Lopez recently told the BBC that she's "on the fence" about returning to 'American Idol' next season. Although many insiders have dismissed it as just a ploy to get a pay hike, 'Idol' execs are already discussing possible replacements should they not be able to entice J.Lo to return.
"Right now the star of 'American Idol' is Steven Tyler," an insider source tells Popeater. "Everyone thought after Simon announced he was leaving that [Lopez] would fill the void. How wrong were they? It's all about Steven, who's already signed on for Season 11."

That's a lot of pressure for anyone who might seek to be her suitor, even a pop star like Marc Anthony. Monday on 'The Talk' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS), Anthony told the story of how he met Lopez, whom he married in 2004. To hear him tell it, he certainly wasn't intimidated.Anthony said he first met Lopez backstage at Paul Simon's Broadway musical 'The Capeman,' in which he was a co-star. "She walked in and I was just like, 'You're my wife and you don't even know it.'" Lopez apparently thought that was "intense," but it obviously didn't put her off.
Sharon Osbourne called Lopez "the most beautiful woman I think I have ever met in the entire world." She asked if it made Anthony nervous to be married to her. Anthony said 'People' just found out what he's known all along. "I signed up many years ago," he said. "I went all in."
