Lili Meets a Man With Breast Cancer on Lifetime's Anthology Movie 'Five' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 11th 2011 3:00AM
Rosario Dawson, 'Five'There's a certain stigma that's been attached, and rightfully so in many dreadful cases, to Lifetime Original Movies. But the ambitious breast cancer anthology film 'Five' (Mon., 9PM ET on Lifetime), is looking to change all that. The film empowers women at one of their most difficult times through five interconnected stories of five women at five different stages of life and cancer.

The film is a true anthology, featuring five different stars and directors for each vignette. Directing were Jennifer Aniston, Patty Jenkins, Alicia Keys, Demi Moore and Penelope Spheeris, while their stories starred Jeanne Tripplehorn at the heart of all the stories as an oncologist whose mother died from breast cancer.

Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore and Alicia Keys Preview Breast Cancer Film 'Five' (VIDEO)

by Stephanie Opella, posted Oct 7th 2011 6:30PM
Lifetime's original movie 'Five,' which premieres Monday night at 9PM ET, looks at the effect breast cancer has on womens' lives in five short, interconnected films. Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Keys and Demi Moore, who each directed an installment, stopped by 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC) to talk about the project.

None of the women are actually in 'Five,' and for Aniston, who also acted as a producer, that made it more appealing. "That was sort of what was exciting. It was also a year of taking off from acting," she said.

Demi Moore talked about directing 'Charlotte', the first of the five shorts about a girl in the '60s whose mother dies of breast cancer. "When I read it, it wasn't written from the little girl's point of view, but I felt it was essential that we bring it down to her level."

Jay Mohr Says Jennifer Aniston Made Him Cry, Then Punches Billy Bush in the Balls (VIDEO)

by Nick Zaino, posted Sep 14th 2011 2:35PM
Jay Mohr takes a shot at Billy Bush on 'Access Hollywood Live'If you're going to take a shot at Jay Mohr, don't do it while he's sitting less than an arm's length away from you. Billy Bush learned that Wednesday on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated on NBC) when he talked about seeing Mohr appear on 'The View' in a yellow shirt that made him look "like a Peep," one of those little marshmallow confections that pop up around Easter. Mohr got gave Bush a shot to the groin after that jab.

Mohr was on 'Access' to promote his new show, 'Master Debaters,' a guy-oriented talk show. They showed a clip of Mohr disparaging Jennifer Aniston, and Bush said he shouldn't have picked on her. "Why not?" said Mohr. "She was mean to me. She made me cry." That was in 'Picture Perfect,' and, Bush pointed out, it was only a movie. "Not in between takes when she says, 'Six guys they screen-tested, the one guy I hate, he's the one they hired,'" Mohr said.

That's when Bush made his "Peep" comment, and Mohr gave him a shot under the table. The crew managed to isolate the shot from another camera angle, and replayed it as if it were a questionable touchdown. Which, in a way, it was.

Jennifer Aniston on Possible Nose Job, Dealing With Brad Pitt Break Up (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jul 12th 2011 1:30AM
Jennifer Aniston, 'Inside the Actors Studio'Jennifer Aniston went 'Inside the Actors Studio' (Mon., 8PM ET on Bravo), where she treated James Lipton to one of the all-time best answers he's heard yet to a question. Aniston was talking about her youth playing sports, and indicated that she'd taken a baseball to the face, breaking her nose.

"That's a broken nose?" Lipton asked.

"Sort of. Not anymore," she replied with a laugh, indicating that she'd at least had corrective work done on her nose at one time.

Later, Aniston talked about her hit movie 'The Break Up.' Because of her recent break with Brad Pitt at the time, even the producers were wary about asking her to do the film, but she said it was cathartic and surprisingly easier to do than she expected.

Gerard Butler on Jennifer Aniston: She Likes to Party and 'Let It Rip' (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Mar 18th 2010 11:30AM
Gerard Butler got revenge on Jennifer Aniston for revealing he has a sweet tooth on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated) earlier this week. Butler told Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa today that Aniston likes a smoke every now and then, and occasionally tosses back a few drinks and lets loose on the dance floor.

"She likes a smoke at night," Butler said of his co-star in 'The Bounty Hunter.' "And every now and again ... she likes to let it rip. On the weekends our director would have fun barbeques and she would have a few and get crazy and be on that dance floor."

Jennifer Aniston Watches Gabourey Sidibe Hit on Gerard Butler (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 17th 2010 12:13AM
Access Hollywood, Jennifer Aniston, Gerard ButlerJennifer Aniston missed the footage of Gabourey Sidibe hitting on Gerard Butler at the Oscars. But all is well, because she had a chance to watch it on 'Access Hollywood' (weekdays, 12:30PM ET on NBC), while the two were promoting 'The Bounty Hunter' (in theaters Friday).

It's pretty funny, too. On the red carpet, Sidibe said, "I kinda said I'd hit that," referring to Butler, who seemed at a loss for words, but managed to choke out, "I'm here. I'm available."

It was awkward, and continued to be awkward when Aniston and Butler watched it back again like deer caught in the headlights. You've gotta hand it to Sidibe, though, who doesn't shirk from anything. "I like where this is goin'," she said. "Maybe we should get a bottle of champagne and see where the night takes us."

Jennifer Aniston on Tabloid Scrutiny (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Mar 15th 2010 4:30PM
Jennifer Aniston said on 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM ET on ABC) that she's developed a "tough skin" when it comes to tabloid stories on her personal life. Her only real issue with tabloid scrutiny is when it diverts attention away from her acting, she said.

"We work really hard at our jobs and ... you don't want to be known as sort of a tabloid face. And that sort of distracts from what you do and what you work really hard at, which is, you know, our movies, our shows," Aniston said. "It's almost like another job that you have not chosen to be a part of. It's a soap opera that you did not sign up for."

Jennifer Aniston appeared today on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated) and revealed that Gerard Butler, her co-star in 'The Bounty Hunter,' has a sweet tooth that he struggles with regularly while trying to stay in tip-top shape.

"He likes sweets. It's really kind of cute. It's just cake, and he just gets so excited," Aniston said, mimicking Butler's Scottish accent. "And then he had this one scene where he comes out in a towel after the shower. So I guess he'd been extra good, and at the end of the day I see Angie, his assistant, walking by with a cupcake."

by Michael D. Ayers, posted Jan 13th 2010 1:15PM
Could it be a better day for fans of 'Friends'?

According to the Hollywood Reporter, ABC has greenlit the new comedy series 'Mr. Sunshine,' starring Chandler Bing himself, Matthew Perry.

The single-camera show was conceived and written by Perry, alongside Alex Barnow and Marc Firek, who together worked on shows like ''Til Death' and 'Family Guy.'

The show centers around a 40-year-old San Diegan having a mid-life crisis. Perry joins 'Friends' alum Courteney Cox on the newtork, whose show, 'Cougar Town,' was recently renewed for a second season.

With news of another 'Friend' potentially making their way back into our primetime lives, we thought about the different career trajectories that each cast member has experienced since the show ended in 2004. In lieu of anything scientific, here's our rankings of how they've fared over the years.

That's because the busy elves over there have re-imagined classic Hollywood movie posters as inappropriate holiday movies. Hey, you looking at the Christmas-themed movie poster for 'Taxi Driver'? Then we have Christmas classics re-imagined as action flicks. Take a gander at Rambo as Scrooge.

Also on Inside Movies, Ivan Reitman confirms that there will be a Ghostbusters 3 and that Bill Murray and Sigourney Weaver are on board -- but not in a way you'd might expect.
