'Jersey Shore' Returns! (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Jun 15th 2010 3:40AM
Has it only been a few short months since we last hung out with our favorite guidos and guidettes on 'Jersey Shore'? Yes, it has. But for many of us, the wait seemed like an eternity. But now, 'Jersey Shore' is back, baby! Or at least, it's back with a special season preview (Mon., 9PM ET on MTV).Yes, the show that embedded the words "Gym, Tan, Laundry" into our collective consciousness has returned to preview season two. For part of the next season, our Jersey Shore-ites will be moving to Miami Beach. So we caught up with our old pals Snooki and Jenni (aka, "JWoww") as they headed down that way. As our heroines travel south, they run into a local boy who hits on them and buys them shots. (Of course there are shots involved!)
'Jersey Shore' Season 2 to Premiere July 29
by Chris Harnick, posted Apr 8th 2010 5:16PM
Your summer is about to get juiced up -- we're talking gorilla-sized -- because 'Jersey Shore' is coming back to MTV on Thu., Jul. 29 at 10PM. Here's the situation: In addition to its premiere date, MTV News has confirmed the cast will indeed film season 2 in Miami -- for at least part of the time, anyway. Once the temperatures heat back up, the cast will invade the Jersey boardwalk once more, according to the report.
Even better news (or worse, depending on how you look at it): All of the original cast members will be hitting the beach -- yes, even Angelina Pivarnick.
'Jersey Shore' Looks for Miami Flavor

Just when you thought 'Jersey Shore' couldn't possibly get any better... it does.Yes, according to the Hollywood Reporter, 'Jersey Shore' is in the process of beefing up its second season by adding new blood to the mix. So move over, Snookie, and step aside, The Situation, because MTV has issued an open casting call for Miami's finest.
"Killer shades, awesome hair, bandanas and bling can mean only one thing," the casting notice states in part. "So if you're a tanned and toned fist pumper, and you love the shore, we want to hear from you! Do you dominate the gym, tear up the dance floor and rule the bedroom? Prove it!"
'Jersey Shore' House Ups Rent to $2,500 a Night
by Danny Gallagher, posted Mar 11th 2010 8:02PM
If you want to spend a night in the house that Snooki, J-Woww and the Situation slept in, the price of Scotchguard won't be the only thing driving your expenses through the roof. The owners of the 'Jersey Shore' Seaside Heights house are charging tenants up to $2,500 a night and that includes a signed lease.
It's also not the first time a former MTV reality show abode has attracted a higher asking price. The 'Real World: Las Vegas' at the Palms goes for $5,000 a night. Again, the price of Scotchguard must be just astronomical.
'Jersey Shore' Sets Up Shop in Miami

Much to the chagrin of many South Beach denizens, it seems as though Snooki and her pack of 'Jersey Shore' poseurs are flying south for the summer.Although yet to be confirmed by MTV, reports reveal that the second season of the fan fave will find the cast mates living large in a South Beach house that, natch, is being renovated to the nines before shooting starts later this month.
The show was renewed back in January under a 12-episode order, following lengthy negotiations between MTV and its stars. Season 2 is tentatively scheduled to air at the end of the summer, according to the Live Feed.
'Jersey Shore's J-Woww and Snooki Ain't Italians
by Danny Gallagher, posted Feb 19th 2010 9:02PM
Whoever said 'Jersey Shore' is a show that just prolongs outdated and blanket stereotypes about Italian Americans can just eat their words. So chow down, world, on a tasty bit of poultry that I call "crow-a-la-king." J-Woww, real name Jenni Farley, told Fox News during an interview that she and some of her show's castmates aren't full blooded Italians.
She also outed Snooki who she said is actually Chilean. Guess she can take "guidette" off of that tramp stamp now. Ouch.
The New Jersey Lady Watches 'Jersey Shore'
by Danny Gallagher, posted Feb 15th 2010 8:18PM
Just how accurate is the unadulterated Jerseyness that is MTV's 'Jersey Shore'? Not very, according to this lady.
Florence Lazar, known to many circles of the Internet as the "NJ Lady," has watched the MTV reality show and she more than a few choice words for how the show portrays her native soil. And unlike the reality show, none of them had to be censored.

Tired of Just Looking at the Cast of 'Jersey Shore?' Now You Can Look Like Them!
by Danny Gallagher, posted Feb 5th 2010 9:27PM
Oh, American parents. Will their television ever give them a break? First, they worried about their kids watching seedy reality shows like 'Jersey Shore' and now they have to worry about something far worse: their kids LOOKING like they are from 'Jersey Shore'. Apparently, the "guido" heavy reality show has inspired its own style and not just among groups like Italian Americans or women bashing douchebags. Everyone is catching on to the 'Jersey Shore' look.
Here are some of the tell-tale signs that your kids might be falling into the "Jersey" crowd: Ed Hardy glittering shirts, ab revealing tops, hair that defies all known laws of physics and can even stop bullets. If your child exhibits any of these symptoms, please seek professional help immediately, starting with your barber.
MTV orders more Jersey Shore

Have you been itching with excitement and unable to sit still because of the nervous anticipation building in your body over what has happened to the cast of the MTV reality series Jersey Shore? If so, please seek professional help immediately. And you can't stop worrying. MTV has picked up a full twelve episode order for the reality shore that will bring the entire cast back to the small screen sometime this summer.
That means the show will have to start shooting very soon to get the episodes ready to air in the summer. If you work or live in Seaside Heights, you might want to warn your fellow citizens and start stocking up on plastic sheeting and duct tape.
Cast of Jersey Shore gets a whole lot younger
by Danny Gallagher, posted Jan 28th 2010 12:19AM
I wouldn't get too attached to the cast of Jersey Shore. Even if the wildly successful MTV reality show have made names like Snooki and The Situation funnier sounding household names than Kukla, Fran and Ollie, it looks like they've been replaced.
Check out the new cast of the Jersey Shore, who seem to have hit some kind of age-reversing time warp.

What to Watch: January 21
by Kim Potts, posted Jan 21st 2010 6:00AM
'Jersey Shore' (10PM, MTV) season 1 finaleNo more Snooki? No more The Situation? No more beating the beat? Thursday nights aren't gonna be the same without our favorite guidos and guidettes, as the 'Shore' thangs pack up their hair gel and trucker hats and return to their home playgrounds with tonight's first-season wrap-up. Will there be another Vinny/Mike showdown before the gang goes their separate ways? Will Ronnie and Sammi stay together? Will Ronnie get out of jail? One bright spot: The cast has reportedly signed on for a second season of MTV's winter hit, and we have a suggestion for an event to bridge two of the network's biggest reality show series: A 'Jersey Shore'-meets-'The Hills' crossover event. A J-WOWWW/Kristin Cavallari smackdown is something we all need to see.
