by Ryan McKee, posted Jan 10th 2011 3:00PM
If 'Jersey Shore' is your biggest guilty pleasure, then you should also be well-aware of the Style Network's reality series, 'Jerseylicious.'The show follows the daily lives of the owners, hair stylists and make-up artists at Gatsby Salon in Green Brook, N.J. While it's more about work than drunken play, it has just as much crazy-New-Jersey-Italian-absurdness as MTV's most popular show.
'Jerseylicious' releases cast member confessionals as web exclusives, and the most recently uploaded features Frankie Buglione's heart-wrenching disclosure that he's an animal lover.

Olivia Clashes With a New Makeup Artist Over a Client on 'Jerseylicious' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Jan 3rd 2011 2:06AM
The Gatsby has a new makeup artist on 'Jerseylicious' (Sun. 8PM on Style) and she immediately started ruffling some feathers, starting with Olivia. We found ourselves in a quandary as we could immediately see both sides of the situation. After Olivia had done the makeup for one of her clients, apparently the new girl went after her and did a touch-up. When Olivia came to see what was going on, the new girl said, "It was just a little, um, not blended enough. So I did just a little bit. But you did a great job."
That last bit came across a bit patronizing, and that sent Olivia off. She was professional enough to pull the new girl aside before laying into her. "When I do someone's make-up," she said. "I would appreciate it if you don't touch it."
One State to Rule Them All in 2010: The Year of New Jersey
by Joel Keller, posted Dec 23rd 2010 10:00AM
Festivus is here! On the first day of Festivus, TV gave to us ... one state to rule them all! When we were deciding on what to put in our Festivus countdown, it was pretty obvious what we would talk about on the day itself. A theme permeated much of the television landscape in 2010, especially in the reality category, and it had to do with a part of our country that's small but densely populated, often derided but misunderstood, and where you can get a pretty damn good slice of pizza just about anytime you want.
Yes, I'm talking about New Jersey.
As a lifelong resident of the Garden State, I quickly volunteered to write about TV's Jersey obsession in 2010, mainly because my relationship with these shows mirrors how I feel about the state itself. Like the shows that depict it, New Jersey is frustrating, annoying and downright ugly at times; at others, it (and they) can be entertaining as hell. And while TV gave people a skewed version of the state this past year, at least it was fun to watch.
'Jerseylicious': Gigi Loses Out on a Marriage Proposal -- Again (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Dec 20th 2010 8:15AM
Gigi Liscio really wants to get married. She wants a perfect husband, and some kids, and a house with a white picket fence. Meanwhile, her boyfriend Frankie is kind of into the idea. And that's never good.Sadly, an excessive desire for marriage can be ... an impediment to actually getting engaged. Frankie is sort of ready to give Gigi a ring (very "sort of" ready). But each time he works up his nerve, something goes wrong. He's tried proposing during a carriage ride, during a walk on the beach, during a cooking class ... Each time, it hasn't worked out. On the new 'Jerseylicious' (Sun., 8PM ET on Style), Frankie tried again.
This time around, Frankie took Gigi to a romantic spot on the Manhattan waterfront. Then, he started his big speech. Charmingly and Jersey-ishly enough, this speech contained the word "Youse." ("I love you and ... I understood what youse was trying to say," he began.)
A Giant Tattoo Serves as a 'Jerseylicious' Anniversary Gift (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Nov 29th 2010 8:35AM
It's Patti and Anthony's fifth wedding anniversary on 'Jerseylicious' (Sun., 8PM ET on STYLE). He's gotten her something that "proved our love," Anthony tells his wife at a restaurant. The salon hairstylist doesn't pull out any jewelry; he pulls up his sleeve. A tattoo of a saint stretches from elbow to shoulder. "St. Gerard happens to be the patron saint of expectant mothers," Anthony explains. The couple had trouble conceiving, but, he said, after "putting our faith in St. Gerard, I was blessed with my son. So I knew that this would be the perfect gift to symbolize our love, our faith and our family." So what does Patti think? Check out the clip.
Glam Fairies Show Texas Their 'Jerseylicious' Style (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Oct 25th 2010 9:20AM
On 'Jerseylicious' (Sun., 8PM ET on STYLE), the Glam Fairies leave New Jersey to attend a wedding in Texas. The ladies head to the Swinging Door BBQ for some small-town Texas culture -- but not without their special Jersey style. Of course we mean tight/short/low-cut dresses, thigh-high boots and rings as big as babies' hands. When Alexa mentions blending in, Olivia thinks she's referring to her eye shadow. "Just because you have an animal on doesn't mean it's Texas," clarifies Alexa.
Tracy interprets other customers' stares as jealousy: "Just because we look good, don't hate." And Alexa gets a shock when the waitress is less than embarrassed by the bug in her lemonade. Alexa has a special treat for the woman -- if she happens to ever visit New Jersey.
Frankie and Gigi Declare a Relationship Break Over a Baby Shower on 'Jerseylicious' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 20th 2010 3:34AM
Babies are a big deal, and they can be a game-changer for a relationship. That's why it's best to get all your emotional baggage on the table before that little bundle of joy comes along. On 'Jerseylicious' (Sun. 8PM on Style), Gigi reached her breaking point during her baby shower at the lack of interest Frankie showed in the whole thing, and lost it completely when he prepared to leave before it was over."I con't care [that] you're busy," she said, following him to his car. "You do it for me!"
"I did do it for you," he insisted. But Gigi sees a pattern with Frankie that she's had enough of.
"He made a promise to me to change with that promise ring," she said, "And all I see is the same old Frankie. We fight and fight about stupid stuff ... It's just basically an emotional rollercoaster and I want to get off the ride."
EXCLUSIVE: 'Jerseylicious' Season 2 Sneak Peek
by Chris Jordan, posted Sep 2nd 2010 3:31PM
You better watch out on the floor of the Gatsby Salon in 'Jerseylicious' this year -- or you just may get clipped. An exclusive season 2 clip of the Style Network reality series shows an altercation between Tracy and a person who appears to be Olivia. We can't exactly tell because the fists and hair are flying so ferociously.
Anyway, Olivia will definitely in the middle of a major plotline this season: the tug of war between Gatsby-owner Gayle and Alexa, the Glam Fairy who's intent on using her influence in the 'Jerseylicious' salon.
"Myself and Alexa have a little confrontation,'' Jerseylicious' Gayle Giacomo told TV Squad. "We're different, business-wise.''

Alexa Refuses to Do Makeunder on 'Jerseylicious' (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted May 10th 2010 6:15AM
On the season finale of 'Jerseylicious' (Sun., 10PM ET on STYLE), Gatsby Salon staffers competed with other salons to make the cover of 'New Jersey Life' magazine's health and beauty issue. Given the salon's penchant for big hair and bigger makeup, a magazine editor's suggestion that Alexa Prisco soften the cover model's look "quite a bit" didn't go over well.Alexa stomped off, locked herself away and refused to come out and make any alterations. "I'm not going to have my work be degraded in front of a room full of people," said the insulted "Glam Fairy." "Everything that I do and represent is being questioned ... I'm not coming out!"
Salon owner Gayle Giacomo stepped in to finish the job. Was it enough to win the cover?

'Jerseylicious,' Style Network's love letter to big hair, bronzed skin and smoky eyes, has already been picked up for a second season. You know all the gossip and fun that goes on at a beauty salon? Well, we get that here, only in Jersey style with plenty of Jersey girls and guys.
Tracy Gets Fired on 'Jerseylicious' (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted May 3rd 2010 4:09AM
On 'Jerseylicious' (Sun., 10PM ET on STYLE), Olivia Blois' friend decided that the best time to tell Blois' co-worker Tracy DiMarco "you make the Gatsby [Salon] trash" was in the middle of a charity event. Oh no she didn't! Of course DiMarco wasn't going to stay silent.Tracy Gets Jealous of Olivia on 'Jerseylicious' (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Apr 26th 2010 4:13AM
It was "strike three" for Tracy DiMarco's boyfriend Lorenzo Gangala on 'Jerseylicious' (Sun., 10PM ET on STYLE). The dealbreaker? He danced (ever so briefly) with his girlfriend's nemesis Olivia Blois at a club. For her part, Blois was not impressed. "Are you serious?
