You tacked their photos to your wall, faithfully watched their TV shows and bought their records --and you might have even written some of them a mash note or two ('fess up!). These are the AOL TV picks for the top 50 teen idols of all time; the 50 young gents who made us swoon, pledge our undying devotion and join more than one sappy fan club.

Our list includes a pair of real-life brothers, several fellas who played brothers on TV and more than a few double-threat actor/singers (what can we say -- they're double the pleasure). But did your favorite Teen Beat cover boy make the cut? Only one way to find out ...

Jesse McCartney's been around longer than you probably think. He got his start in 2001 with the boy band Dream Street, then landed a role in the short-lived (but well-loved) teen drama 'Summerland.' In 2004, he found multi-platinum success with his debut solo album, 'Beautiful Soul.'

Last year, the 21-year-old McCartney unveiled a more mature look and sound with his third album, 'Departure,' which spawned the hit single 'Leavin'.' Since then, he's been linked to a bevy of high-profile starlets, like Aubrey O'Day and Danielle Panabaker, and was on the short list for the leading role in M. Night Shyamalan's live-action adaptation of 'The Last Airbender.' Next, he'll guest-star on the third season of the ABC Family series 'Greek,' premiering March 30.

The singer-slash-actor took time out of his busy schedule to talk to AOL TV about all things 'Greek,' what he's given up to keep his music career on track and setting the record straight (sort of) about those Hayden Panettiere rumors. -- By Katy Kroll

(S07E03) We're really getting back into the swing of things now. After the whirlwind of 25 performances in two nights, it was time for a proper results show. As usual, that's both good and bad. Results shows always hold the prospect of musical guests, and professional numbers.

Unfortunately, they also have a tendency to bring iffy comedy bits, and dull taped packages. It's a bit of a crapshoot, but usually worth tuning in. Because, as we all know, no matter how sure you are that a certain couple is leaving, you just never really know. Am I hinting at a surprise elimination? Or just trying to trick you into clicking your way past the jump? Only one way to find out.

Dancing With the Stars is a show that makes no sense to me. I understand the appeal of it; I'm usually very interested in any program that involves celebrities doing ridiculous things on national television and I know that people love bright shiny costumes, but it still somehow manages to hold no interest for me whatsoever.

With that said, I know that the announcement of each season's DWTS cast is heavily anticipated and rumored for months before the actual announcement. We heard that Dan Marino may be a contestant; a claim that was soon denied. 82-year-old Cloris Leachman was another name floated, as was Magnum, P.I. himself, Tom Selleck. Kim Kardashian and Kathy Griffin were also said to have been approached.

As with most rumors, some of these turned out to be false, but others had some truth to them. Follow me after the jump for the official (and completely insane) cast of Dancing With the Stars' seventh season, along with some twists the producers have cooked up for this go-around.
