'The Bachelorette' Jillian Harris jumped reality shows to help out on 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' (Sun., 8PM ET on ABC).

In fact, she proved to be pretty good at breaking windows, which sort of freaked out Brian and Audra Skaggs, the couple whose window she was breaking. No, they weren't there; they were on the other end of Ty Pennington's phone call, listening in on the destruction.

Hopefully, Harris won't need that window-smashing skill in her, uh, personal life. But hey, if she does, at least she'll be prepared.

The 14th edition of ABC's 'The Bachelor' will officially take off on Mon., Jan. 4th, Entertainment Weekly reports.

This time around, Jake Pavelka, a failed suitor to Jillian Harris' 'Bachelorette' from earlier this year, will search for his perfect love among 25 hopeful beauties.

The show, whose 'Wings of Love' title serves as a cheesy -- ok, very cheesy -- reference to Pavelka's status as a commercial pilot, is slotted for a two-hour premiere. In addition, this cycle will be the first in the series to be broadcast in high-definition.

Bob Sassone already did a post on how the amazing Anderson Cooper caused a little bit of an accident on the set of Live with Regis and Kelly yesterday morning when he subbed for the Reege. As funny as that -- and really, the entire "host chat" segment was -- it was not my favorite thing that happened on the show yesterday.

That honor goes to Cooper's interview with The Bachelorette's Jillian Harris. Harris was on the show with her "fiance," doing the post-finale press tour and shilling for the jeweler who provided the diamond ring that Ed bestowed upon her on Monday's season-ender.

While Kelly stuck to the script and asked the common, "when did you know he was the one?" questions, Anderson wasn't having any of it. He's Anderson freakin' Cooper, and as he demonstrated with his swift takedown of the Lohan clan, he doesn't have time for the shenanigans of D-list reality stars (except Kathy Griffin). So Cooper, always trying to get to the bottom of the story, flat-out asked Jillian how many dudes she boned in the Bachelorette mansion.

It was the final rose ceremony on 'The Bachelorette,' and the moment of truth had arrived. The music swelled. Jillian looked deeply, happily into the eyes of Ed and told him that he -- not Reid or Kiptyn -- was her ultimate choice, the man with whom she wanted to spend the rest of her life.

And then what happened? Ed took out a ring and asked if she would marry him.

Hold up. Rewind. The name of the show is 'The Bachelorette,' and Jillian (the bachelorette in question) had considered her options, searched her heart and chosen the guy she wanted to marry. Yet he was the one who proposed?

So, after getting her heart broken on last season's installment of 'The Bachelor,' who did 'Bachelorette' Jillian Harris choose to be her mate for life (that's in reality TV years, of course) on tonight's season finale? Was it Ed, the walking poster boy for erectile dysfunction, or Kiptyn, the man whose name sounds like something Superman is allergic to?

In what host Chris Harrison had warned in the beginning would be "the most emotional season finale ever," Jillian chose .... Ed, the technology consultant who had dumped her earlier in the season to return home to his job, before coming back a month later when he realized he'd made a mistake.

The unsuccessful suitors of 'Bachelorette' Jillian Harris gathered together for the 'Men Tell All' special, but one infamous face was missing. Wes Hayden, a singer from Texas, wasn't present to face the music or defend himself. But why?

Wes became notorious this season when he was accused by fellow contestants of promoting his career and having a girlfriend back home. He repeatedly denied the latter claim, both to Jillian during his time on the show and after (his so-called "girlfriend," Laurel Kagay backed him up).

So why wasn't Wes at the reunion special? A couple weeks ago, he told an Austin radio station that he didn't want to attend unless "the show was live, like we're sitting around right here."

On last night's 'Bachelorette,' Wes officially came clean about something that was obvious to everyone except Jillian: He already has a girlfriend.

The good news? Wes' slip of the tongue finally got him the boot, leaving Jillian Haris with three remaining suitors and a trip to Hawaii to look forward to. But if the latest Internet spoilers are any indication (or, given how reliable some of these sites are, "spoilers"), Jillian's road to finding true love is only going to get worse.
