Joan Collins Says She'd Love to Return for a New 'Dynasty'

Earlier this year the much-vaunted 'Dallas' reboot became a reality. Now, in news to gladden the hearts of fans of shoulder-pads, sequins and shoving matches everywhere, Joan Collins has said that she'd love to return to TV for a second round of 'Dynasty,' should the opportunity arise.And that's not all. She reportedly let slip that there may even be a script in place. According to 'The Sun,' Collins said she's been in "constant contact" with 'Dynasty' creator Esther Shapiro, "and apparently they've written a script."
But, Collins added, "I can't tell you anything about it -- it's top, top secret. ... I would love to be Alexis again because it was a great role."

If you grew up in the '70s, odds are you remember hearing John Forsythe's voice but not seeing him. The 92-year-old actor, who passed away April 1 in Santa Ynez, Calif. due to complications from pneumonia, was the voice of Charlie Townsend, who ran the Charles Townsend (Detective) Agency, on 'Charlie's Angels' from 1976-1980.Even though 'Angels' featured empowered women, it seems they never made a move until Charlie gave them the go-ahead. Charlie was often shown from the back of the head (another actor subbed for Forsythe) surrounded by bikini-clad women.

The distinguished actor and television leading man, John Forsythe, passed away yesterday at his home in Santa Ynez, California, following a year-long battle with cancer. According to his publicist, Harlon Boll, the 92-year-old actor succumbed to complications of pneumonia.John Forsythe is best known for two iconic roles on television, only one of which included his appearance. On 'Charlie's Angels,' the hit ABC jiggle-cop show of the 1970s, Forsythe was the voice of Charlie Townsend, the man who hired Kelly, Sabrina and Jill as investigators in the Townsend detective agency.

Goodnight, Charlie.According to the AP, John Forsythe, who starred in such classic TV series as 'Bachelor Father,' 'Charlie's Angels' and 'Dynasty,' died yesterday after a year-long battle with cancer. He was 92.
Forsythe's publicist, Harlan Boll, confirmed the news today, and said that his death was caused by complications of pneumonia.
Forsythe was arguably best known for his role as hard-edged oil tycoon Blake Carrington on 'Dynasty.' Forsythe joined the show in 1981, and appeared in over 200 episodes. In addition, Forsythe won two Golden Globe Awards for his role on the series, and an additional three Emmy nominations.
