Claire Attacks Kate on 'Lost' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 17th 2010 7:18AM
Lost, Claire attacks KateOne of the best scenes in last night's 'Lost' (Tue., 9PM ET on ABC) occurred when Claire (or whoever she is) attacked Kate, as a dazed Sayid looked on. He's just not right, but some people on the show aren't getting that. Anyway, no one is who they seem to be.

Loved seeing Locke go off on Claire, grabbing her by the scruff of her neck (sort of), tossing her like a sack of potatoes, then slapping her. "I'll deal with you in a moment!" he said.

It must be loads of fun for these characters to play alternative characters on the show. They really get to stretch their acting chops.

'Lost' - 'The Substitute' Recap

'Lost' - 'The Substitute'
(S06E04)
The numbers! The numbers!

Lindelof and Cuse have been teasing us for a while now that they might not reveal the significance of the numbers. Without doing so directly, I think they gave us something huge connected to them tonight. Finally, after a lackluster episode last week we're getting some information we can sink our teeth into. Locke-centric episodes always seem to be good for that.

The character connections in the flash-sideways reality were really coming at us hard and heavy tonight, with appearances by several favorites as we discovered how John's life could have been. It would appear that some things have definitely gone better for our paralyzed friend, while in some other respects he's the same sad sack John Locke we came to know and love over the past five seasons.

Sawyer Gets a Cryptic Message From Jacob on 'Lost' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 17th 2010 12:45AM
Lost - Sawyer and non-LockeThere's some cryptic graffiti on the walls of 'Lost' (Tue., 9PM ET on ABC), courtesy of everyone's favorite mystery date, Jacob. And Sawyer is very interested in one name that non-John Locke shows him – his own. "Why would he write my name on this wall? I've never even met the guy," says Sawyer.

Non-Locke replies, "Oh no, I'm sure you did meet Jacob. Probably when you were young, when you were miserable and vulnerable. He came to you, he manipulated you, pushing you to the island. He thought he was the protector of this place, and you, James, have been nominated to take over that job."

We're guessing Sawyer would rather be cuddling with his sweet Juliet.

'Lost': Is Sayid Jacob or What?

by Ryan McKee, posted Feb 3rd 2010 9:00AM
On the 'Lost' season 6 premiere, Sayid was dead. He'd been shot in the gut, bled out and seemingly drowned in the magical spring that would supposedly save him.

The creepy new Asian leader (Are we calling them "Other Others"?) said that Sayid was beyond saving, even for the Island. However, right before that all too familiar end, Sayid sat up like he had just been taking an afternoon nap.

Six Keys to Enjoying the Final Season of 'Lost'

by Allison Waldman, posted Feb 1st 2010 4:09PM
lost_abc_poster_season_6There's something reassuring about knowing that the end is near. Not the end of life, but the end of a long trip or the last pages of a book. Television viewers are no different.

The very idea that the upcoming return of 'Lost' -- it premieres Tuesday at 8 p.m. (ET) -- will be the beginning of the end, the build up to the grande finale is both a joyful and bittersweet experience.

To make sure it's more of the former and less of the latter, here's a few keys that will ensure you will savor the return of 'Lost' so that it will be good to the last drop.

Pre-Lost Locke, Terry O'Quinn as The Stepfather

by Allison Waldman, posted Jan 31st 2010 9:00AM
the_stepfather_terry_oquinn_shout_factoryWhen Lost returns this Tuesday for the beginning of the end of the series, one of the biggest questions that has to be answered concerns John Locke. Is he dead or not? Has he been dead all along and someone/something else was taking his place? What is the real story of John and why was he chosen for the role he has on the island and off?

Well, part of the fascination with Locke is the way Terry O'Quinn has played the character. O'Quinn is a dynamic and compelling actor. And if you want to get a great look at just how good Terry is, take a look at the recently released reissue of a small, independent film he made in 1987 called The Stepfather. The DVD presents a much younger Terry O'Quinn -- he was 35 at the time -- as Jerry Blake. And Bill Hodges. And Henry Morrison.

Michael Emerson: The TV Squad Interview

by Kona Gallagher, posted May 13th 2009 11:03AM

As the creeptastic Ben Linus on Lost, Michael Emerson has been the puppet master on the island. He spends his days murdering people, causing others to murder different people, playing mind games and just generally making life more difficult for the survivors of Oceanic flight 815 and everyone else whom he encounters.

Ever since he was going by the name, "Henry Gale," Ben has been a fan favorite on the series. Recently, I was able to grab a few minutes of his time to chat about this week's season finale of Lost and the evolution of Benjamin Linus. He even gives me some parenting advice!

The interview follows after the jump, and as we do discuss this week's finale, I should probably give you a spoiler warning right now. However, since it's Lost, he's not able to give too much away. FACT: The smoke monster is real, and is deployed against any actor who dares to speak too freely about the show-- so I got what I could.

Lost/SNL parody: Dad in a box - VIDEO

by Anna Johns, posted Apr 12th 2007 8:23AM
lostJust when I got the original "Dick in a Box" song out of my head, it's back in a new form. Some fans of Lost have created a parody of the Justin Timberlake/Andy Samburg music video called "Dad in a Box".

Lost fans will get that title immediately and probably even snicker. It refers to a recent episode where Ben tells John Locke all about a "magic box" on the island where you can wish for something and it will suddenly appear.

The "Dad in a Box" music video is after the jump.
