Judy Greer Jokes About Her Roles on 'Archer' and 'Two and a Half Men' (VIDEO)

by Stephanie Opella, posted Nov 28th 2011 7:30PM
Judy Greer went on 'Good Day NY' (weekdays, 9AM ET on Fox) to talk about her new film 'The Descendants,' but Greg Kelly told her that he liked her best as the voice of Cheryl Tunt on FX's animated series 'Archer.' As she was describing Cheryl's penchant for being strangled during sex, Greg interrupted her with a strange, guttural noise. "That was weird," she joked, as Kelly laughed awkwardly.

Rosanna Scotto stepped in and changed the subject to 'Two and a Half Men.' Greer talked about playing Bridget, Walden Schmidt's ex-wife, who he's still pining for. Kelly seemed to find an on-screen romance between Greer and Ashton Kutcher hard to believe. "Ashton Kutcher is?" he asked incredulously.

Judy Greer Talks Ashton's New 'Two and a Half Men' Rival, Another Bluth for the 'Arrested Development' Movie & More

by Maggie Furlong, posted Oct 24th 2011 1:15PM
Judy GreerJudy Greer is one of those actresses that pops up in a million places at once, and always manages to elevate whatever she's doing with her quirky sensibilities and impeccable timing.

Her 'Two and a Half Men' character Bridget (the second character she's played on the show -- she's that good) is the one who left Ashton Kutcher's Walden Schmidt brokenhearted and forced to shack up with Alan and Jake Harper. This week (Mon., Oct. 24, 9PM ET on CBS), we'll meet Bridget's rebound man, played by 'True Blood' star Joe Manganiello.

Since Kutcher got naked for ratings in his big premiere, could the eternally shirtless Manganiello (we're not complaining) be stripping down for his big introduction, too? "He could, at the drop of a hat, take off his shirt and give Ashton a run for his money," Greer joked.

Greer also talked about the "fresher" new 'Men,' her upcoming film 'The Descendants' with George Clooney, where she thinks her 'Arrested Development' mess of a character Kitty Sanchez might be today and if she'll pop up in the much-anticipated 'AD' movie.

Alan and Walden Wind Up Naked and Lying Together on 'Two and a Half Men' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 27th 2011 5:15AM
'Two and a Half Men' - 'People Who Love Peepholes''Two and a Half Men' (Mon., 9PM ET on CBS) definitely feels like a completely different show with Walden Schmidt. For the second episode in a row, though, they did manage to get him naked. At least this time he was covered by a blanket rather than pixels.

After a bender to drown Walden's sorrows over his impending divorce, he and Alan were convinced to go skinny dipping by Berta, whose voiceover throughout the episode made it clear where her thoughts lie in regards to her new employer.

Judy Greer returned to the show, only this time she's Walden's ex-wife Bridget. So rather than a womanizing middle-aged man, we have a sad and suicidal lonely younger guy that even Charlie's ex-girlfriends can't say no to.

Judy GreerIt's a 'Miss Guided' reunion on 'Two and a Half Men' this season as it's been announced that star Judy Greer has signed on for a recurring role on the comedy.

According to TV Guide, Greer will appear in several episodes playing Bridget, the soon-to-be ex-wife of Ashton Kutcher's character, Internet billionaire Walden Schmidt.

Greer previously guest-starred in Season 4 of 'Two and a Half Men' back in 2007. She played Herb's sister Myra, who memorably hooked up with Charlie Harper when Herb married Alan's ex-wife Judith.

She and Kutcher worked together on 2008's 'Miss Guided,' which was executive produced by his Katalyst Films production company, and he also guest-starred on an episode.

Larry Uses a Past Romantic Encounter to Blackmail Connie Into Making Up With Kate on 'Mad Love' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 1st 2011 1:42AM
'Mad Love' - 'The Kate Gatsby'From the premiere episode of 'Mad Love' (Mon., 8:30PM ET on CBS) there's been an odd chemistry between Larry (Tyler Labine) and Connie (Judy Greer). Sure, it's been a negative chemistry, but it turns out there's a reason they felt such an instant connection. They've met before.

All Larry needed was a trigger to jog his photographic memory. Turns out Connie's annual birthday bashes for Kate (Sarah Chalke) have become such big events that Larry was at one years ago even though he didn't know either of them at the time.

There, he and Connie were drawn to one another and shared a kiss. He was wearing a mask and she was in geisha make-up, so they didn't remember one another eight years later.

Give Judy Greer Another Series!

by Joel Keller, posted May 11th 2010 5:04PM
Judy GreerThere are certain actors that you just wish would break away from the steady stream of supporting roles they're getting and become the star of the show. For years, the person most cited in that category was Paula Marshall, who left a trail of memorable supporting roles and failed series in her wake before landing on 'Gary Unmarried.'

Now, I'm afraid that one of my favorite current actresses, Judy Greer, is falling into that category. Since her one and only starring series project, 'Miss Guided,' failed two years ago, we've seen her in a series of supporting roles, in all of which she's been excellent.

Just over the last couple of months, she's played Phil Dunphy's amorous ex-flame on 'Modern Family,' and last night she played Sheldon's super-amorous astrophysicist friend on 'The Big Bang Theory.' And next week, she'll play a (probably) amorous date for the perpetually single Ted on 'How I Met Your Mother.'

Sensing a pattern here, folks?

'The Big Bang Theory' - 'The Plimpton Stimulation' Recap

by Kona Gallagher, posted May 11th 2010 1:14AM
big bang theory judy greer(S03E21) Judy Greer! I actually had no idea that she was guest-starring on this week's episode as Dr. Elizabeth Plimpton, but I was so happy to see her. From her turn on 'Arrested Development' to her recent guest-stint on 'Modern Family,' she makes every show she's on even funnier. This was no exception. I loved her role as the sex-crazed scientist. My favorite part though, was not the giant orgy she was trying to make happen at the end, but the fact that she innately seemed to know to stay away from Sheldon.

I knew, of course, that Sheldon had no romantic interest in Dr. Plimpton, but when she showed up and was basically the girl version of him, I started to get a little worried. I thought we were going to have an awkward episode filled with her making advances on a clueless Sheldon. Luckily, that never became an issue, as she went after every single guy except for him.

'Archer' - 'Dial M for Mother' Recap (Season Finale)

by Annie Wu, posted Mar 19th 2010 2:11PM
archer
(S01E10) Whoa, whoa, whoa. Did 'Archer' just get sentimental on us for a split second? It was an almost stealthy move. Sure, the season finale wrapped up with Mallory calling her son an ass but it was... sweet. Considering the whole super-spy nature of the show, the rest of the finale wasn't very action-packed. Instead, the focus remained on Archer and Mallory's relationship and the sick, twisted world of ISIS office romances. I think the picture accompanying this post pretty much sums that part up.

Overall, though, this was one of my favorite episodes from the series so far, with a lot of laugh-out-loud moments. And I'm sure you didn't realize we needed a new "Schwing!" but let's pretend that's what "Sploosh" (with the little hand motion) is going to be.
