Julia Ormond Talks 'The Wronged Man' and 'Nurse Jackie'

British actress Julia Ormond has been quite active on the silver screen lately, appearing in 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,' 'Kit Kittredge: An American Girl' and the 2009 thriller 'Surveillance.' And she's slated for a three-episode stint on the upcoming second season of Showtime's 'Nurse Jackie.'

But before that, she'll appear on the Lifetime Movie Network this Sunday (Jan. 17 at 8PM ET) as the lead role in 'The Wronged Man.' The story centers around Janet "Prissy" Gregory, (Ormond) a paralegal who worked for 22 years to overturn a wrongful conviction in Louisiana of Calvin Willis (Mahershalalhashbaz Ali).

Inside TV spoke with Ormond about channeling "Prissy and her upcoming role on 'Nurse Jackie.'

There might be hope for a Moonlight reunion on Three Rivers

moonlight cbs three rivers alex o'loughlin sophia mylesThe networks are in the process of recasting some of their new shows before the fall season starts. Some of the shows getting new cast members include ABC's The Forgotten, CBS' NCIS: Los Angeles, and Three Rivers, also from CBS.

Don't worry Alex O'Loughlin fans. Three Rivers' hunky vamp turned transplant surgeon isn't going anywhere. But his lead co-star, Julia Ormond, has been shown the door. CBS has yet to announce who will replace Ormond on the show. If they're smart, the network will try to nab O'Loughlin's former Moonlight co-star, Sophia Myles, to replace Ormond.

Our coverage of Moonlight and our recent interview with O'Loughlin taught us a few things: There are tons of Moonlight fans out there. They love O'Loughlin, and they'll watch anything he does. The cast of Mr & Mrs Smith
ABC had garnered a fair amount of press over this one because of the obvious tie-in to the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie movie. The big news is that the creators of the movie are back for the TV show. Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Swingers) and Simon Kinberg (X-Men: The Last Stand) have signed on to try and transform their movie to the small screen.
