Julianne Hough Talks About Her Huge Family Appearing in 'Footloose' (VIDEO)
Julianne Hough's family is apparently so massive that they can't help but spill into everything she does. Her brother Derek Hough appeared alonside her on 'Dancing With the Stars,' and according to her appearance on 'Late Night' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC), a whole bunch of them wound up in her upcoming film 'Footloose.'"Just spot the blondes," was Hough's mantra for picking out her relatives in the crowd scenes. There are so many of them, that she lost track of the numbers when it came time to listing her nieces and nephews.
In a cowboy line dancing scene, three of her sisters and even her mother get in on the action. Maybe somebody should just give the whole Hough family a variety show to spotlight all their talents.
Derek Hough Danced Last Night With a Dislocated Shoulder (VIDEO)
'Dancing With the Stars' (Mon. 8PM ET, Tues. 9PM ET on ABC) fan favorite Derek Hough just keeps getting better and better. This week he and celebrity partner Ricki Lake -- who wasn't an early favorite to go all the way -- scored the first perfect 10s of the season from the judges. On last night's live results show Hough blew the crowd away when he took to the floor with his sister Julianne for a jive. Now it appears that Derek did it all with a dislocated shoulder. Ouch!
According to 'The Hollywood Reporter,' Derek dislocated his shoulder in rehearsals yesterday, but after seeing the doctor he decided to dance through the pain and perform as planned.
Julianne Hough Mocks Ryan Seacrest's Dance Skills on 'The Tonight Show' (VIDEO)
It looks like having studios that bump up against one another can be good for romance. Julianne Hough met boyfriend Ryan Seacrest repeatedly while they were on their respective shows, 'Dancing With the Stars' and 'American Idol.' On 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC), she talked a little about how he wooed her, and his dancing skills.According to Hough, she could tell Seacrest was into her during a radio interview she did on his show. The only slightly awkward part was that she was there with her then-boyfriend at the time.
'DWTS' Backstage Report: Who's Going Home First? Also, Julianne Hough is Returning!
It's difficult to predict just who's going to be eliminated on tonight's results show of 'Dancing With the Stars.'The scores ranged from 14 for pro basketball player Ron Artest (a.k.a. Metta World Peace) to 22 each for singer Chynna Phillips and 'All My Children' actor J.R. Martinez.
Since Artest's pro partner, Peta Murgatroyd, is also new to the show it's not like she's bringing in a lot of votes. Still, pro athletes have always done well on 'DWTS.'
How did the stars and pro dancers think they did? AOL TV was on the post-show press line to get reactions.
Julianne Hough Not Returning to 'Dancing With the Stars': Why She's Better Off
The tango might be tough without Julianne Hough. The cha-cha's kind of rough without Julianne Hough.
No, those are not new lyrics to Julianne's latest country single, but our way of emphasizing major 'Dancing With the Stars' news: Hough, dancing veteran on the show, will not be returning for its 10th season.
Hough confirmed the news Tuesday morning on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, saying "I'm not [going back] next season. But I love that show."
As for season 11, Hough added "we're going to cross that bridge when we get to that."
Dancing with the Stars: Week 5
(S08E08) With the passion of the Paso Doble and the grace of the Viennese Waltz, most of the contestants have proven that they deserve to be here. Even Steve-O has improved leaps and bounds since week one. Carrie Ann was on the attack the whole night. She had to be angry at her hairdresser and took it out on the contestants. This week was one of those weeks where the lift continues to be debated. She accepts Shawn for being artistic, but penalizes Melissa for a flub. More analysis after the jump.
Julianne Hough Interview for 'Dancing With the Stars'
"I was more nervous singing on the set of 'Dancing With the Stars' than singing in front of 75,000 people." She can dance with the stars -- and she can sing with the stars, too.
'Dancing With the Stars' pro Julianne Hough first made a name for herself by winning the show's trophy twice (with Apolo Anton Ohno and Helio Castroneves). Though she and Season 7 partner Cody Linley were eliminated during the semifinal rounds, Hough has a hot country music career to console her.
The blonde dynamo chatted with AOL TV about performing as a singer on the show for the first time, her new "little brother" Cody and whether she'll be 'Dancing' again next spring.
Dancing With The Stars: Week 9 results

(S07E19) The big question coming into the results show this week, obviously, was who would make it through to the finals. That, on its own, was probably enough to get most of the crowd to tune in. The powers that be could have just banked on it and tossed any old random segment out there to fill up the first 50 minutes of the show. Some Jimmy Kimmel here... a highlight reel there... the numbers would have still been huge. Lucky for us, that's not what they did, at all. It was the biggest musical event the show has ever seen. Along with those big results, we saw performances from Leona Lewis, John Legend, Julianne Hough, and the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. If that wasn't enough, reigning champ Kristi Yamaguchi stopped by to dance. It made for a fun hour. The results, and a look at all of those performances, after the jump.
Dancing With The Stars: Week 8 results

(S07E17) It's crunch time. A trip to the semi-finals was riding on the results tonight. One couple would fall just short of that goal. Would it be the steady, season long leader, Brooke? Or the young, and sometimes erratic, Cody? Have fans warmed up to big Warren Sapp? Or do they prefer their championship athletes to be of the faster variety, and favor Maurice? And what of Lance & Lacey? Is it just Len, or have fans turned on them too? The answers, are after the jump, along with a rundown of the various performances and taped packages. Those include my favorite results show performance of the season, and my most hated piece of filler as well.
Dancing With The Stars: Week 5

(S07E10) The folks down at Dancing With The Stars had something a little different for us this week. Keeping things new and interesting, it was time to debut four new dances. The hustle, jitterbug, salsa, and west coast swing were all brand new to the show. With eight couples, and four styles, the stage was set for four showdowns as we saw each style twice, back to back. The results ran the gamut, from outstanding (29), to could have been better (21). A look at all of the performances, and another instance of insane scoring, is after the jump.
ABC announces new cast of Dancing With the Stars
Dancing With the Stars is a show that makes no sense to me. I understand the appeal of it; I'm usually very interested in any program that involves celebrities doing ridiculous things on national television and I know that people love bright shiny costumes, but it still somehow manages to hold no interest for me whatsoever. With that said, I know that the announcement of each season's DWTS cast is heavily anticipated and rumored for months before the actual announcement. We heard that Dan Marino may be a contestant; a claim that was soon denied. 82-year-old Cloris Leachman was another name floated, as was Magnum, P.I. himself, Tom Selleck. Kim Kardashian and Kathy Griffin were also said to have been approached.
As with most rumors, some of these turned out to be false, but others had some truth to them. Follow me after the jump for the official (and completely insane) cast of Dancing With the Stars' seventh season, along with some twists the producers have cooked up for this go-around.

ABC wrap-up: Eli Stone, a DWTSer sings, and Ashton Kutcher hates my question - TCA Report
The remaining panels on ABC's first day were for Eli Stone, the Ashton Kutcher-produced game show Opportunity Knocks, and a panel for the upcoming Country Music Association events on the network. For the latter panel, Julianne Hough, who has twice partnered with the celebrity champion of Dancing with the Stars, sang a few songs from her current country album. Pretty girl. Nice voice. Dancer's body. But that's all I can say about the panel, because I bolted shortly after she was done singing. The Eli Stone panel featured the entire cast along with executive producers Greg Berlanti (who seems to be producing two-thirds of ABC's scripted dramas) and Marc Guggenheim. Surprisingly enough, there was only one question about the presence of Katie Holmes as a guest star this season. The reason why she's there is a shock -- they brought her in to get ratings! Will wonders never cease?
Dancing With The Stars: Week 8 results

(S06E16) It was a big night down at DWTS HQ. Not only would the field be set for the big semi-final showdown next week, it was also the show's 100th episode. That milestone meant that many of our favorites from seasons gone by were making their return to the ballroom. In addition, ABC recognized that nothing else they were going to put on tonight was going to measure up to DWTS numbers, so they kicked the whole thing off with a clip-show counting down the judge's ten favorite performances from the first five seasons. That list, and the rest of the results show goings on, after the jump.

Jonathan Roberts on Dancing With The Stars: Week 8
Week 8 brings us another chat with our favorite pro. This week Jonathan weighs in with his thoughts on all of the couple's performances and picks his favorite dance of the night. It was a better week for the judges, but there is still one dance that he didn't agree with them about...at all.
Along the way he talks about the difficulties the pros face choreographing the performances as they move further into the competition. We also get to some reader questions. Read on to hear about his trip to the White House, the most, and least, memorable moments from his years on the show, and a sneak peek at just what they have planned for Tuesday's big results show.
