Lucy Lawless Heading to 'Caprica' for Final Five Arc?
by Mike Moody, posted Feb 11th 2010 10:00AM
With 'Caprica' struggling to find an audience, it seems natural for the show to hail the mother ship, 'Battlestar Galactica', for a little help. According to TV Guide, 'Caprica' will soon begin an arc that reveals the backstory of 'BSG's "Final Five" Cylons.
It's unclear if the actors who originally portrayed The Five will return for the 'BSG' prequel, but we might get a visit from another familiar Cylon face. Word is that 'Caprica' producers have already asked Lucy Lawless to reprise the role of D'Anna, one of 'BSG's most troublesome toasters.
Review: Heroes - Pass/Fail

(S04E16) "Objection, your honor. He's reciting the opening to Quantum Leap." -- Adam Monro, prosecuting attorney in Hiro's mind-trialThis week, it was time to deal once and for all with that pesky tumor in Hiro's brain. This isn't Eli Stone, after all. Not to mention how downright loopy he's been lately. So apparently the resolution is for his body to collapse while he faces a strange trial in the diner where he met, failed-to-save, and then did save Charlie. David Anders reprised his role as Adam Monroe to prosecute our time traveling hero, while George Takei presided over the thing as his father and the judge.
The rest of the episode was split between Sylar's quest to figure out why Lydia's ability was directing him to Claire, and Samuel's attempts to woo Vanessa after he'd kidnapped her. I can say, that I thought he was off to a rough start on that one.
Review: Heroes - Close to You

(S04E15) Doesn't it always come down to a girl? I'm not sure why I didn't see it.This week saw many of the pieces coming together for the endgame coming soon between Samuel and whatever band of heroes Noah can put together to take him down. But then again, Noah's not the only one gunning for Samuel at this point, is he? Other than Sylar and Tracy, we touched base with just about everyone in the cast, and for the first time in a long time, this series is starting to feel the same way it did during that exciting first season, when it had three times as many viewers.
If you were irritated trying to keep up with Hiro's bizarre "geek culture" speak, you'll be pleased to know that it comes to an end this episode.
'Battlestar Galactica''s Kate Vernon joins 'Heroes'
by Bryan Enk, posted Nov 13th 2009 12:21PM
Movieweb reports that Kate Vernon will join the cast of 'Heroes,' at least for one episode. 'Heroes' cast member Greg Grunberg (who plays Matt Parkman) posted the following on his Twitter account: "Kate Vernon from BSG is now on Heroes -- can't wait for you guys to see her. The 5th!!" Grunberg also posted a photo of Vernon with 'Heroes' cast member Robert Knepper, who plays Samuel, the leader of the mysterious traveling troupe known as the Carnival, prompting speculation that Vernon will play a member of the group. Then again, they may have just been hanging out on the set ... you never really know with 'Heroes.'
A little bit of BSG's The Plan
by Brad Trechak, posted Jun 15th 2009 12:02PM
Someone was pointing their camcorder at their television screen at some point and managed to catch a brief of the upcoming Battlestar Galactica prequel TV movie The Plan, which delves into the entire Cylon plan that was the premise of the whole series. It appears to be a brief scene between Dean Stockwell's Cavil character and Kate Vernon's Ellen Tigh in which Cavil is discussing the concept of resurrection.
While I appreciate being able to see the clip, I wonder who had their video camera aimed at the television at just the right moment this past Friday night? We're far past the age of Kinoscope. Hadn't they ever heard of DVRs? I'm sure better quality copies will be available soon, if not already.
Seeing the clip does make me yearn for more Battlestar Galactica episodes, even if some found the series' ending to be disappointing. It's a pity that we have to wait until November.
Do you want to see these Battlestar Galactica actors appear in Caprica?
by Mike Moody, posted May 13th 2009 8:09PM
This week, actors Michael Trucco and Kate Vernon both hinted that they'd like to appear in Caprica, the Battlestar Galactica prequel series. The former BSG stars say it's possible for their characters, Sam Anders and Ellen Tigh, to appear on Caprica, which takes place roughly fifty years before the events of BSG.
The uncut, two-hour long Caprica pilot hit DVD last month, but the series won't premiere on Sci Fi Channel until 2010. Should Anders and Ellen be a part of it? (BSG spoilers after the jump!)
