Kathryn Hahn Joins 'Parks and Recreation' (Just Like AOL TV Suggested)
by Chris Harnick, posted Nov 28th 2011 3:35PM
Former 'Free Agents' star Kathryn Hahn will appear on NBC's 'Parks and Recreation' ... just like AOL TV suggested.According to TVLine, Hahn will appear in multiple episodes of 'Parks and Rec' as a member of Leslie's opponent's political team. 'Parks' executive producer Mike Schur took to Twitter to correct the casting misinformation.
"Small point of clarity: Katherine Hahn is doing an arc on #ParksandRec, but she is *not* Leslie's opponent. We're thrilled to have her!" [sic]
Finding New Homes for the Stars of Fall 2011's Canceled Shows
by AOL TV Staff, posted Oct 12th 2011 1:00PM
Look out! The post-premiere-season cancellation axe is swinging, and no star is safe. So far, four shows have fallen -- taking with them everyone from Kathryn Hahn ('Free Agents') to Johnny Drama ('How to Be a Gentleman') -- and more are sure to follow. But there's no reason one bad project should banish '24' veteran Mary Lynn Rajskub or 'Flight of the Conchords' genius Rhys Darby from our TV screens -- or, perhaps worse, relegate them to one-off-guest-star obscurity.
To remedy this situation, AOL TV has some free advice for casting directors: together, we can find new homes for the undeserving victims of fall 2011.

Chelsea Handler and Kathryn Hahn Share Mutual Hatred of Body Hair (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 16th 2011 5:15AM
Chelsea Handler brings a different dynamic to late-night, being the only woman hosting among a group of guys. You certainly wouldn't hear a conversation about the love of shaving on any of their talk shows, but Kathryn Hahn and Handler certainly agreed on a hatred of hair on 'Chelsea Lately' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on E!).Actually, Hahn seemed to be giving mixed signals on this one. At first, she talked about how she "actually loved" not being allowed to shave for the film 'Our Idiot Brother.' But then she seemed to talk herself out of it when lamenting about difficulties applying deodorant.
As for Handler, she said her hatred of hair is so severe she keeps razors in her office so she can shave throughout the day when she gets bored.
'Free Agents' Premiere: Secret Sex Partners Make for Interesting Work Days (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 15th 2011 5:00AM
['Free Agents' Season 1, Episode 1 - 'Pilot']'Free Agents' (Wed., 10:30PM ET on NBC) is a perfectly acceptable new comedy. It's just also rather unremarkable so far. For the most part, it's another office ensemble, but so far no one in the office has managed to break beyond the second dimension.
Even Hank Azaria and Kathryn Hahn are so deep in their individual, but very similar, character quirks, that they forgot to be well-rounded characters we could believe in. There were a few laughs, though, like when Alex (Azaria) was put on the spot in the morning meeting about his exploits the night prior and he made up a series of sexual positions he supposedly explored.
'Free Agents' Stars Talk 'Party Down' Parallels & Being the Anti-Romantic Comedy
by Maggie Furlong, posted Sep 14th 2011 11:00AM
'Free Agents' is not 'Party Down' ... but it does share some very key elements with that cult favorite, canceled-too-soon show.First and foremost: creator John Enbom, who shared creator credit on 'Party Down' with Paul Rudd, Dan Etheridge and Rob Thomas, whom Enbom first teamed up with after working in the writers room on Thomas' other other cult favorite series 'Veronica Mars.'
But possibly even more important than pedigree here is set-up. Much like the Casey-Henry 'Party Down' romance rollercoaster, 'Free Agents' PR execs Alex (Hank Azaria) and Helen (Kathryn Hahn) get the wham-bam-thank you ma'am out of the way really early on. It's the "what now?" that drives their relationship -- at work and in the bedroom -- as opposed to the more popular "will they/won't they" dilemma. They did already, and as Enbom, Azaria and Hahn all promise, they will again and again.
And thirdly, well, let's just say they'd welcome any 'Party Down' alums to stop by for a guest spot.
