Shaquille O'Neal & Kevin Hart, 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'When Kevin Hart started cracking jokes on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC) about how Shaquille O'Neal has been showing up in the most unexpected places since his retirement, he didn't really think through the fact that one of those places was 'The Tonight Show.'

"I saw him at Home Depot two weeks ago," Hart said. "He wasn't even shopping. He was just helping people put stuff in their car. 'I'm Shaq. I don't got nothing to do. You want me to grab it. I'll help you.'"

Even though you could almost see it coming, it was still funny when Shaq came out and hoisted Hart into the air like a child.

Krod MandoonI've just learned from a source at Comedy Central that Krod Mandoon and The Flaming Sword of Fire will not return be returning for a second season. Now, I'm sure this wasn't anyone's favorite show, and there won't be too many online petitions for its return. But I was fond of it, and was hoping it would get a chance to grow a bit more.

For one thing, a fantasy comedy was a departure for Comedy Central's schedule. It was a little island of oddity amongst the more modern-looking programming, a pleasant change of pace. I also enjoyed the crew of supporting characters. Mandoon himself was kind of the standard altruistic oaf, but there was plenty of room for development, especially learning the others.

Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Suck

Sean Magure as Krod Mandoon in

I really wanted to like Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire. There hasn't been a good geek comedy that can create a whole satirical universe in the span of a few minutes since Futurama went off "Into the Wild Green Yonder," both on Fox and on DVD.

Krod Mandoon didn't have the potential to be the next Futurama, but it certainly had the makings of something that was willing to try. The title alone made me laugh the first time I heard it.

But after watching the first few episodes, it turns out the title has won the biggest laugh thus far.
